Every person in the facility was helpful and friendly. Nicest place we have stayed in a long time.
Restaurant menu was good but pricey.
Beautiful lobby, nice staff. The room was clean and had the amenities one would expect.
The room was really outdated and the bed was hard. The ancient heat/ac unit blew loudly on and off all night long.
The room was a nice size, clean bathroom and lots of ice available when required. We were glad they had room service, even though it was hard to a) Find the menu and b) Actually get the correct order.
Unhappy clerk at check, wrong room service order, this hotel was entirely underwhelming. Noisy at night (some kind of party in the atrium?) SO many doors to get through to get to any part of the hotel (NONE with handicapped assist) Just sad.
Very pleasant staff. Restaurant connected.
Needs major updating. Internet did not work in our room. It would be nice if tHeir was a co tine tall breakfast provided. The pool is small and not much fun for a 9 year old. He kept asking where the water slide was.
The carpet was sticky. The air conditioner did not work. The other motels in Watertown with the rating of 2 1/2 stars served breakfast. The bathroom was very small. No elevator.
Room was old but fine
We paid for a double queen room but when we arrived they informed us they didn't have any double queen rooms available (booked 1 hour before we arrived!). Instead of giving us a room with a king bed, they gave us a double full...not what I paid for!
There is a Jacuzzi in the room
The expecting clock in time was 3pm. We weren't allowed to clock in until a little after 5pm.
There was no fridge in the room.
BEDS NEED UPGRADED
The public space is beautiful. I liked the Atrium feel throughout the hotel.
Never waited for 20 mins for someone to show up at the front desk. Though a note was left saying 'please call this number,' it rang to the front desk - which was unstaffed. on top of that, first room given was unoccupied but uncleaned. Horrible service!
It was very clean and the public areas were very nice.
Room was very small, barely enough room for the bed and a small table. The price was high for that type of room.
Location / close to my place of work in Watertown, SD (when I travel there). Also, the sprawling layout of the hotel. Fun to walk the halls including the convention center!
Not one thing
My third and last time in a ramkota. The first time no hot water. The second I was awakened by police officers 8 of them outside my door and left. This time even more out dated than the Aberdeen hotel but louder. Checked in at 6 pm left two hours later.
the beds were comfy. it looked nice from outside. Friendly staff.
Our room was too close to vending and ice. Lots if noise thru the night. No outside window.
The beds were comfy.
We didn't have a window facing the outside. We heard a LOT if activity. Ice machine. People swimming, kids, people coming back k from bar at 2 am. Etc.
Hot tub eas nice. Rooms were clean. Workers were professional, accommodating, and extremely pleasant.
No fridge in the room. Light switches were oddly placed.
Separation doors from lobby and restaurant minimized travelling smells and noise from those areas.
No elevator and had to take 2nd floor room as only one available. They said they had everything on the first floor to be ADA compliant, but not true if no rooms left on that floor.Noise from atrium between room areas is noisy with an echo.
Very accommodating and friendly staff; nicer rooms than I expected; clean and comfortable.
I would prefer a small fridge in the room...this particular rom didn't have one.
This is a very old hotel that appears to have had outdoor room entrances that they have enclosed. This causes a lot of noise in the hallways to travel into your room, making it feel at times that someone is next to your bed speaking.
nice bed for a hotel.
There was no continental breakfast.
Relatively quiet and very clean and comfortable. We asked for a fridge and got one quickly.
I had asked for a room close to an exit or handicap space. Called three times to check. When I checked in it was in the middle of the first floor. The person checking us in was very nonchalant about helping us and I said forget about bothering!
There was a real table and two chairs in the room. The atrium is a nice space.
The food service for a wedding reception was placed in the hallway that leads to some of the guest rooms. The doors into the hotel do not have automatic openers, so are difficult for wheelchairs and luggage carts.
The manager and front desk employee were great
Staff are incompetent and rude
The air conditioning was so loud it sounded like a tractor did not get any sleep. The drain in the tub did not work. Told them about the air and did not fix it. They said theywould make it right and did nothing .
No free breakfast as I was expecting. And no breakfast period (paid) until 9:00 AM but I had to leave before then. A long wait to check in also.
The night staff came a helped me get on line with my laptop@!!
no free breakfast
Pool area was nice. Kids had fun.
Old and outdated. Hotel did not look clean. Might have been age.
The friendliness of the staff. Quality of food in restaurant was excellent.
The staff were very good. I know they helped take care of the issue we run into.
The cleanliness of the room is very poor, dust is every where, the water in the twilight was running all the time and did not flush properly. one of the beds sheets had hair and never been changed.
It was right on US 212 and very easy to find. I got a call from the front desk about 20 minutes after check in saying they were glad I was there and please call the front desk with any requests.....actually was very genuine. Nice touch. Free Wi-Fi :)
I like to swim....so the pool was in close proximity to the room and I was all prepared for a few laps. I dipped my foot in the shallow end and I knew that I wasn't going in. The 'pool room' temperature was pretty much the temperature of the hallways.
Wonderful atrium: open space to relax. Staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Doorways are narrow and there are no automatic openers. This makes it difficult with a luggage cart, and very unfriendly to wheelchairs.
The Hotel was clean and neat.
The Staff was rude due to I had booked it on Priceline.com. So they had over 3/4 hotel empty and threw us in with only double beds. We cant give a bed with queens since you booked it online. I was pissed the hotel is the one that gave priceline to sell
Plenty of TV channels, room heater worked well, whirlpool was hot.
Would have preferred hotel on the other side of town. Front desk staff not particularly friendly, especially in the morning.
Bar And Resturant Attached
It Is Extremely Old And Very Run Down The Bed Was Hard Could Feel The Springs Priceline Rates This As A 2 1/2 Starr Hotel But I Have Stayed At 1 Stars That Were Better
It stayed pretty quiet.
Had to ask for maid service. Was there 6 days, and not once got clean sheets. Had a dead moth on my floor for at least 3 days before my husband actually threw it away.
smell, overall condition, cleanliness
Leaving in the morning...
The rooms were very small. The AC unit in the room was old and loud.
Worst hotel ever! I really expected more from the Best Western
Yes. We were put in a room to the outside and the window 'furnace' was noisy and cycled every 90 seconds (on for 90; off for 90) regardless of the setting unless is was turned off. It was cold out so needed to be on.
It's a basic room. Person in next room woke me up and could hear them talking on the phone. On site dining was nice.
