Very basic 1960s, adequate to overnight and move on, not somewhere you'd want to spend days in the room. It's what we expected and were not disappointed.
Traveling western OHIO on 80 or the turnpike, this is convient. Great stay for short night, between destinations.
Clean, comfortable bed, with microwave and refridgrator, but not much room and no extras: 2 pillows on the the double beds. Bathroom and shower were ok-good. Food not real close by, no continental breakfast
If you're the type that needs frills & being pampered... this is NOT the place for you!!! On the other hand, if you're simply looking for a clean, quiet place to sleep, you've found the right place! Desk staff was friendly. parking lot was well lit. The furnishings were dated... felt like I was staying at Grandma's house rather than a hotel. :) The sheets were clean, the pillows decent and plenty of towels... what more can you ask for? Oh yeah... and they're pet friendly! Good thing, as I was staying there while attending the dog show a 1/2 mile up the road. If I were to have a complaint, it would be the power plugs. Every plug in the room was the old 2-prong style... no where to plug in my laptop to charge. :( I found a single 3-prong plug on my last morning there. It was on the bottom of the light above the sink, 1/2 covered by the mirror and completely inaccessable.
This is a single story brick building in the shape of a U with 30-ish rooms. Parking available immediately in front of your door. No stairs to climb. Our room had 2 double beds for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Walls were a darker wood paneling with a darker carpet - generally dim. But it was clean. Bath was comfortable. This is close to the turnpike but road noise was not a problem at all. Dining across the street at Smith's was adquate. Motel manager (owner?) was pleasant, helpful, and loaned me an extension cord so I could get electricity at a table by the window where I wanted to hook up my laptop. We stayed here for one night passing through and would gladly do so again. For $* this was a good value.
Thank you for such a clean room. The reason I stayed here was because of your sign, 'American Owned.' And then I saw your VET stickets and I knew this was home.\n\nThank you!
So clean! Slept like a baby! I still love parking right outside the door. Thank you, I shall return and send others. I loved sitting at the dressing/table/desk and getting ready this morning. :) Your rate was very important to me- traveling is expensive so I appreciate it. Also, becuase you are a family owned business.
Throughout my lifetime of driving Truck I have stayed in many Hotels & Motels including Alaska. As far as I'm concerned you guys have the same modern conveniences as the high dollar ones. Not only that everything seems to look Real Nice! Keep up the good work. I travel through weekly, I'll be back! Knowing that it is American owned says alot.
This is a no frills motel. It is right off the interstate and great for a one or two night stay over while on the road. The owner was gracious and helpful. The rooms are retro original with interesting features, such as the formica corner desk/vanity.
