Very convenient for non drivers, just a short walk to the Malls and Courteny Place. Not far to Te Papa etc and easy to catch a bus.
Because it was full the rooms were not ready and the poor staff seemed run off their feet. But everyone had a great attitude so we felt well looked after.
Its relative proximity to the CBD; politeness and willingness to assist of the sole member of staff I met.
Noisy; the room was overlooked by a multi-storey car park that was both open and illuminated throughout the night.
The hotel was totally adequate for the price and nice and central to where I had to go.
I was in room 711 and the thing I didnt like was the sound of a howling gale coming in through the window that didnt shut properly - sorry but I think that is a complaint!
service was brilliant - v noisy outside though
I found the room to be perfectly pleasant, clean and bright with cheerful decor.
The day was hot and there is no air con in the rooms. The service desk did offer us a fan though.
