The staff was very friendly.
The bed(mattress) was very uncomfortable. I never got a good night sleep, and I woke up with backaches.
Cleanliness, facilities, amenities, breakfast, friendly staff, kitchenette, price. Underrated ('star'-wise).
What's there not to like? Unless you're expecting a 4/5-star hotel.I needed a one-night stay for an interview in Pittsburgh in 11/2013. Got a good deal through Priceline. It had all I could need - it was clean, bed was comfortable, the kitchenette and bathroom were well-equipped, the receptionists were helpful and friendly, and I grabbed a very adequate breakfast on my way out (literally!). I couldn't have asked for more; as a matter of fact, for the price, it was amazing. It's about 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. I would recommend for short and, of course, 'extended stay'.
Room was stinky .... bugs in room made sleepless...I would not recommend this place to anyone again...
Everything was absolutely outstanding.
Staff was robotic and off putting. No standard hotel amenities in the bathrooms. No shampoo, conditioner, body soap ,etc. Not a place to stay unless it was for a longer term where you knew the rules. The hotel was priced the same as a competing hotel across the street that offered a bigger breakfast choice and toiletries in the bathrooms, and staff that did not act like an airline stewardess or robot when explaining our room location, WiFi choice and breakfast location.
They ran out of soap, shampoo, ect... Never had that happen before. They also checked into someone else's room who required special accomodations and then had us move. The breakfast also sucked.
Hotel very clean, staff more than accommodating. Lynnette & April at the front desk were most helpful. Very conveniently located to major access highways.
Clerk on the phone was uninformed of pet policy ($25/night add'l) Had to make arrangements for a small dog with family members. Did not inform us of kitchen facilities in room.Overall, they hotel has been one of the best we have stayed at. The rooms were equipped with a 2 burner stove top, full size refrigerator, microwave, cooking utensils, dishes, skillets, pots & silverware. Convenient to grocery stores, Walmart, multiple types of fast food or sit down restaurants, gasoline/diesel, pharmacy, Sam's Club, Century III Mall. Enterprise Rent A Car in parking lot. Will definitely stay here again!
The staff was helpful and the morning coffee was great.
The breakfast leaves something to be desired but the coffe is great. The hotel was clean, nothing outstanding positive or negative, except the staff. Reasonably close to downtown. There were many restaurants and shopping areas close by.
All the other things are pretty nice in this hotel except for the location. It took me too much time on the road from Pittsburgh downtown area!
kitchenette, i guess
no do not disturb tag for door, NO SHAMPOO (or conditioner), they were 'out' and not even willing to find me some,, drain broken in tub, worst excuse for 'free' breakfast (old apples, granola bars ).. no hot water when i wanted tea (empty).nobody caredsee above, please,,, will never bid on 2 star in this area again,, comfort inn across the st is even better,, no root sports for pirates game, only about 8-10 channels and the reception was blurry,, maybe the worst hotel i have stayed in,,
