Cons:
That particular location was closed even though I could make reservation. Nobody called me to explain that they moved to another location. i had to look for another rental, another car. Lots of stress, waste of time. terrible experience.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
A full tank of gas would have been great and a tire check as well. Tires had 20 psi in both front tires. Had to stop and pay to get them filled and also too off the tank.10.0 Wonderful

I rented a car for one day and unlimited mileage and I was charged for two days even after returning the vehicle within the allowed timeframe (just as instructed by the staff) I called the manager for details and I was still charged for the second day. Although friendly, the staff was not well prepared and was misleading.Kyte

pick up staff was quick. not necessarily friendly, but quick.Cons:
the car was disgusting inside. it was clearly not cleaned (but the "this car has been cleaned" paper was placed inside) and it smelled. It still had someone's dirty mask in the backseat, dust/soot everywhere and dried snot on the dash/door.9.2 Wonderful

It feels unbelievably expensive. I understand it's a one-way trip, but the fees are outrageous. I'm glad upgrading in person was cheaper than online.8.8 Very good

car was great, people were nice, price reasonable; location was amazingly convenient to the upper west side; we were able to do a 1 way SUV rental with short notice for <$150; got us out of a bind from a canceled flightCons:

This was my first time using Avis, I used enterprise in the past and was disappointed by their overall services,the Staff at Avis on west 76th were excellent to me and treated me like a 20 year client, I will definitely be using Avis from now onHertz
