Big room. not so crowded
1. cannot get a fresh towel when calling front desk after finding out the house keeping missed our room and got off work already. 2. turning on the heater would create a burned smell - room 825.
pool was a good size and at night was empty, so got a chance to swim with no one around. I liked that the hotel had delicious food. Breakfast was delicious and served promptly
very loud! There was some event going on in the pool area where people were paying to go to see a latin band playing. Also, too many events happening and not enough parking. Some type of lounge in the hotel that is open on Fridays and Saturday.
Worst hotel I have stayed in. Now way to change air, mattress was flat and poked your back, loud hallway due to thin walls, weak shades to cover sunlight, no bottled water, etc.
I had to stay at a non smoking room , my wife and I had to stay in two different beds .
Great housekeeping staff. Clean and quiet room. Large and well equipped bathroom. (Room for lots of ladies toiletries) Air conditioner works and is quiet. I usually eat at the hotel restaurant, but wnet for better value/healthy options nearby.
They finally got rid of the non-working Sleep Number beds (thank you!), but replaced them with a very CHEAP mattress/box springs set. Nowhere close to a 'heavenly bed'.Pillows are ok, though.
The pool was great and the bed was very confortable
One day house keeping did not left towels, soap and shampoo I had to call to bring it.
Very close and conveniently located to downtown
No refrigerator in room
staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great.
Toilet wouldn't flush. Stains on drapes and wall. Number memory beds didn't work.
Common spaces ok. Room size ok, though bathroom v cramped
Loud pool side room. Paper thin walls. Staff just walk in on you. Dated rooms. Ancient loud ac machine. Staff or others loud outside your room v early in morning impossible to sleep. Narrow parking spaces
Room description said room came with refrigerator. Get there and no refrigerator in room. Asked the front desk and was told no.
It was a great value. It's right on the outskirts of uptown Whittier, near restaurants. It was a nice looking hotel.
The only thing I can complain about is the housekeeper knocking on our door at 9am. I will never understand why housekeepers can't wait until after check-out time.
Crazy loud and annoyingly thin walls!
I called after booking and was told we had two beds. Arrived and they said we only had a king. Room for four had only three bath towels. Desk staff have no clue how to give directions. Loud music at night must be night club there.
Free parking, lots of restaurants are around the hotel. WiFi is fast.
Smoking rooms... They still have a smoking rooms. We didn't want to smoking room but only smoking room is available. A/c is not like 3 star hotel. A/c is not cool enough.
it had a pub
AC wasn't cool enof.. No temp regulator for AC They sent a technician after I complained but he said there is nothing he can do about it and left. I wasn't even offered room change. AC not working properly in this hot summer was unacceptable
Mattress was too firm. Became uncomfortable after 2nd night.
The room AC unit rattled and made it difficult to sleep at night.
Rooms are clean, nice bed, nice bathroom
Too far from the freeway.
The Friday night salsa dancing and happy hour !!!
Clean and the room had a lot space. The bed was comfortable.
You can hear the persons next door.
The staff, when I checked in they were really nice and easy to talk to. We even laughed -- which was nice after being on the road for 12 hours!
The pool hours and no continental breakfast
Room was fine stayed there several times previously. This time, I had to switch rooms as TV didn't work and the toilet was running non stop. New room the sleep numbers beds were not working.
Cheerful Hotel Employee, Shuttle driver who came to my rescue & the cheerful waiters-
Misrepresentation of property: 'Free Shuttle Service' nowhere does it say you have to notify staff 48 hours in advance for that 'free'service. I endured this hotel's inhospitality for 7 nights as I had no other option! My son & grand sons just 2 night
That it had select comfort beds
That the select comfort bed did not work and was not fixed during our stay
convenient location, nice to be able to print from business center, attractive lobby
ants on the chair and a spider on the wall upon arrival also coffee machine was missing, after that first night the room was cleaned to a higher standard, no more issues The sleep number bed controls were limited or failing but we got comfortable
The bed was so hard. It was a numbers bed but it didn't work. Woke up with a sore back.
Very clean and well kept.
I loved that the ammenities included a makeup remover pad in the bathroom and lemon water in lobby.
We booked this hotel solely on the fact that they had a shuttle bus but when I went to reserve my time they told me that they had two events going on that day and they would not have a driver! I could have booked a hotel closer to my destination :/
There was ants in the room. Had to change rooms and felt I should have been compensated for my trouble.
