Good place to stay. Condo was outside the business of Jackson but close to really good activities and restaurants.
A quiet and cosy place to stay in. Clean and nicely done up with a rustic feel. A tad too far from Yellowstone but within a short trip to Grand Teton.
This was great value when compared to other hotels in the Jackson area. My husband and I rented out a great one bedroom condo for the same price as a lower end hotel room. This place was fully furnished, even the kitchen, it was clean, and its located outside of Jackson which results in it being very quiet. We stayed for a week which meant we received cleaning services mid-stay. There was a washer and dryer in the unit which was great, we were able to come home with clean laundry. There was a small yet wonderful grocery store at the front which had everything we needed and was reasonably priced. The only thing that we didn't like is that is was pretty far from Grand Teton National Park and that is where we spent most of our trip. There is also not a pool which would have been nice, there is a sports club in the front of the complexes but you must purchase a membership or day passes to use the facility. We would definitely say here again the next time we are in Jackson, we loved it. We loved having more room than your average hotel room and loved that we were able to cook and grill dinners throughout the week.
Beautiful surroundings; however, it is a few miles from downtown Jackson.
Great place for a wonderful vacation! Plenty of room, very clean, wonderful living room/dining room and kitchen area. Everthing was perfect!
The Aspens is a great place to stay and to my understanding there are a variety of different condos (styles/Layouts) some may be more recently renovated than others so this is something to ask when booking. Also it is much more convenient to be as close to the market & bus stop (which can take you to the town of Jackson) as you can as the walk to and from the market or bus stop can be quite long and dark (Cabs are available to venture to Jackson or the surrounding areas but become quite costly). I would definitely recommend this place for a trip to Jackson Hole. The free shuttle service picks you up right outside your condo and takes you to the mountain with different time options in the morning and afternoon. I need to get back there ASAP!
This is our fourth stay at the Aspens. All have been lovely. This particular unit was charming and quiet. It was close enough to Jackson that we could spend the day in town and close enough to Wilson that we could spend some time there. Very accessible. The unit was clean, the kitchen well stocked; the washer and dryer feature is so handy. Internet access was good-always a plus! I would highly recommend a stay here.
I will never stay at the aspens again! I complained the first day about an unacceptable TV. A 14 inch 20 year old TV with a jumping picture. I had absolutely no responce from management. Also, poeple who have never been to this place are lucky to find it. Poor signs and lighting. I have stayed here for 4 years in a row, and each year I got a less desirable condo. You can buy a nice TV for $. They should have a spare or loaner for emergencies!
We arrived in Jackson Hole on Sunday afternoon. We had a wonderful flight on Frontier Airlines and had no problems with them even with our concerns about their bankruptcy. The weather was awesome (it snowed almost every day and we loved it) while we were there. The condo was very comfortable and the kitchen came in handy although we didn't use it as much as we planned. There were many great restaurants in the area. Our favorite for breakfast was The Bunnery and Bubba's. We had a great lunch at the Old Faithful Inn and a dinner to remember at the Jackson Lake Lodge in the Mural Room. Watching the sun set behind the Tetons while we ate dinner in the Mural Room was something I will not soon forget. Another recommendation for dinner is The Bar J Chuchwagon. The food was okay (it was supposed to be what a cowboy would eat out on the range after all) but the price was well worth the entertainment alone! The Bar J Wranglers were great! This was a fun experience for our whole family. My niece and nephew loved it and they are 11 and 13 respectively. Our only problem, and it was a minor problem, was finding were to get the key to the Aspens Condo that we were staying at. Other than that our trip went off without a hitch. I gave housekeeping a 3 because I never saw them until our last day there. My mom made us make our beds so there wasn't much for them to do as far as cleaning :). Beautiful scenery, beautiful wildlife and friendly people...what more could we have asked for on our first trip to Wyoming? The Grand Tetons are breathtaking and Yellowstone is a natural wonderland. Go!
The Condo/property was excellent...beautiful, clean. The woman who checked us in was a bit disinterested...I asked about the ski shuttle..'everything you need to know is in the packet'..There was NO information on the ski shuttle...We had to search for a stop and look at the schedule on the post at the main entrance and guess as to where and when it would come by us.....The office was supposed to be open from 8-5 in the winter...upon checking out...we waited until 8:20....and ended up using the 'after hours' phone to call the other office for instructions....Our condo was quite a ways from the main office.....We had a rental car; (we don't always when we go to Jackson)...if we hadn't ---it would have been a real hassle.
Very scenic winter setting. Our room backed up to a river. We were blessed with lots of snow and the scenery was beautiful. We rented a 2 bedroom condo. It was nice that the 2nd bedroom was on a loft with a full bath. It was great having a washer and drier in the unit since we stayed 6 days and 5 nights. The kitchen was nice and their was ample space in the den and dinning area. The unit had a little age on it but was in great shape with no mechanical problems. Had the beds been more comfortable (harder than my liking) I would have probably rated it excellent.
