Center of Winter Park.
Clean, updated room. Great breakfast
great location, room met our expectations
Limited parking, cold eggs at breakfast.
Was clean and tasteful, property was in good shape.
It's pretty bare bones, but that's common in the area unless you want to pay--- plus.
Nice to have free breakfast and a fridge in the room. Room was clean.
Not particularly kid-friendly: charged $10 for a crib, and there were no high chairs at breakfast.
Location and the people that work there. Rooms are comfortable and very clean.
Kids under 10 shouldn't be on 2nd floor. The running up and down the halls drove us crazy!!
There was a husband/wife team working there that was very helpful and friendly. The husband stored our luggage so that we could enjoy the town and the wife gave us information we needed about the hotel, city and altitude sickness! Good selection of food.
Nice beds and great location and staff. Only downfall is the hotel isn't quiet.
Great staff, great breakfast, comfortable beds, Our car broke down and the staff helped us get a reliable mechanic to get it fixed.
Hot tub closed at 10 and walls where thin so we overheard other rooms conversations
Older facility but well maintained. Rooms newly redone. Very clean. Nice fluffy new towels. Standard breakfast but nicely done. Exceeded my expectations.
Staff was not friendly; common areas were cramped; lack of supplies; had to go outside to get to Jacuzzi.
The room was fine but the elevator was broken during our stay. The staff was friendly.
This hotel is right on Hwy. 40 in Winter Park, with conventient access to the ski resort and just a short drive to Rocky Mointain National Park. Breakfast was included in the room rate, and included hot items like eggs and sausage, as well as oatmeal and yogurt for the health conscious. We visited during the 'off season,' after the resort had closed for the ski season and before the start of the summer tourism season, so the hotel was far from full during our stay. We benefited, as that meant staff had ample time to chat and make recommendations, which we took advantage of.
Nothing spectacular, but certainly nothing wrong with it. It's in a great location for walking to WP's bars and restaurants and the mountain shuttles all stop nearby.
I would like to thank everyone at this hotel for making us feel right at home while we were out at the Nastar National Championships. The front desk people went out of there way even when we were checking in very very late at night and even helped mail out a package we needed sent back home! I will stay here again if the event is held in Winter Park Colorado in 2012. Thank you soooo much
The hotel is clearly an older establishment; it smells like an old hotel does that used to allow smoking. The smell isn't so overpowering that it's intolerable, it's just there. The breakfast has a decent variety for not being hot breakfast. The staff is so nice and welcoming which made the stay better. The worst part of the hotel is the price; the price is based on convenience. It is a shuttle stop up to the ski areas and is within walking distance to several shops. For less than impressive accommodations, the price should be half of what it is. If you're just looking for a place to sleep for a night or two, it's perfect.
We stayed here in June 2010 for one night. Access to town was more important than ski area. Room was clean, staff was very friendly, breakfast buffet was great with waffles, eggs, sausages, cereal, etc. Computer with internet in lobby was helpful. Information area in town suggested a couple great hikes. Price was half of that of B&B a block away. Id highly recommend it.
