quite, large 2BR condo. could use updating. Beds not so good.
The resort was very clean and appeared to be relatively new. The suite was quite spacious and a great value. The resort was off the beaten path but still close enough to the major attractions to be convenient. My only complaint was the noise from the road in the early morning. Overall, I would recommend this resort.
We were surprised. We stayed over Christmas, and because of the low price, weren't expecting much. It was really nice. Large rooms throughout, a private laundry room, lots of space. Huge screened-in deck. There is no housekeeping, and there was a large stain on the carpet, but otherwise, it was like staying in a nice three-bedroom apartment. The 'free' breakfast in minimal, and the internet is wired, not wifi. It is off the beaten path, but just a mile from all the services, and less than a half-hour from the attractions. For a large family, it is an unbeatable value.
Price worth it however it's in need of a makeover* Carpets VERY BAD**(stains & very worn) Master Bed SAG'S & side rail (wood) a hazard.
I was most pleasantly surprised upon my arrival. I rooms far exceeded my expectations, they were large, clean, fully stocked and very very comfortable. I would and have recommended this hotel to my family and friends. The Palisades will be first on my list on my next visit to Orlando.
I have been to many hotels in Orlando and for the money this place was the worst. When you walk into the room, it is very spacious, well layed out and looks beautiful. But if you plan on sleeping here, dont plan on being comfortable. The beds are aweful platform beds with thin spring matereses, you can feel every spring and the sound when you move will keep you up. The room above mine had the same problem because I could hear evertime they moved or got in/out of bed. This hotel location is not desirable since there is nothing close and no great hotel ammenities I do not see the attraction other than I had a coupon. If you stay in Orlando there are plenty of other wonderful hotels for the same price and you will be much happier.
Small complex with large rooms. The apartment/condo set-up works great for my family. We enjoy being able to eat in. Quiet resort - no bar or restaurant. Would not recommend it if you are looking for a party setting. Beds are OK but need replacement, carpets need cleaning. Kitchen is clean.
This was a great place to stay. Very spacious, clean, customer friendly. Great pool and hot tub. We went went our son and his family. There were 6 of us and we had the 2 bedroom, 2 bath and it was perfect. Very large everything. We will stay there again on our next visit with our daughter and her family. No need to buy breakfast food for we went and got danish, fruit, coffee and juice. we did go to the walmart which is close and buy snacks and drinks for disney world. Big kitchen with all full size appliances. The only bump we had was the dryer took a very long time to dry. Iam sure if we had told someone it would had been taken care of.
Upon entering resort,we noticed they had a private movie theater which we took advantage of same night of arrival;luckily, there were open slots for the movie we wanted to see.I traveled with teenagers,so thankfully they had a gameroom to keep them occupied during our downtime. They also have a heated sauna and pool outback overlookin nature and you may even see a racoon if your lucky, but don't feed them!Depending on the type of room you book, the view is beautiful. My family and I always have fun and go back at least once a year, rather it's Spring Break or summer time. This is the perfect place to go,whatever the age,and there are also stores and reasturants nearby.
The only thing was that it said it had complementary breakfast and it was only coffe. The rest of the hotel was very nice.
The hotel was very difficult to find but other than that it was very nice. Not crowed at all. I felt as If I was the only one staying there. This is a great place to stay if you want to completely relax.
Palisades Resort was a fabulous fit for our family. It had two enormous bedrooms (one with two twin beds and one with a king). Each had its own bathroom and TV. There was also a full kitchen, a living room (with a 3rd TV), wired internet (they graciously provided us an ethernet cable), and a lovely balcony. We didn't have opportunity to use the pool (was quite chilly), but it looked nice. The breakfast was bare bones but fine for us as we were up early and in a hurry to get to nearby Disney. The condo was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious. I definitely recommend it, whether you have a short 2 day stay like we did or a 2 month extended stay.
**Im not trying to sound l ike a crazy person, this hotel was just that good :) Overall: Best hotel I have ever stayed in by far, this spring will be the 3rd year in a row my family and I will be staying in the Orlando area this is the reason why. Only Complain was that the washer didnt work as well as we hoped, deffiantally not a deal braker Room Quality: So Spacy, it is comfortable and you feel at home, great sized beed rooms. Cleanliness: Very clean, no complaints Activities: We didnt didnt take advantage of the theater but there is one, where they play a selceions of movies by request.Hopefully we will use this faucility this time. Location: Beautiful senery, on both hotel sides! Oneside is more nature, but from the front you can see disney fireworks in the background! GREAT location.Get a Solarium (Deluxe Suite) great view! Security& Stafey:No Complaints really, i felt safe, some bad looking houses near , but nothing to worry about secured parking lot. Staff and Service: Staff was very helpful , matainance worker droped what he was doing just to help us find ice, Front desk was helpful with wifi info. Bed Comfort: Very Comfortable Value For Money: Amazing! My dad is a pennypincer and he want to stay over and over agian! Repeate coustomers get a discount, and usually if you go through their sight, you can get it cheep. Poop:kinda Small but is a nice place to cool off.
We stayed in a 3 br platinum suite for 4 nights. Pros: -Great Rates -Tons of space, walk in closets, w/d, 2 bthrms, full kitchen Cons: -Very thin walls. We were woken up every night by noisy neighbors. -Platinum suites are end units which means a loooonnnngggg walk to the central elevator -breakfast consisted of individually wrapped muffins/danishes, 4 types of cereal, milk, juice, coffee and that's it. -A little far out, especiallly if you hit all red lights like we often did -bleach marks everywhere on dark carpeting, gross!! -platform bed in Mstr BR has a large wooden lip that we banged into many times, OUCH! -no TV in 3rd BR, left one kid a little bummed
