the room on the plane was good but that is because flight not sold the other three seat and I had room. the food in terrible.

First the price I paid was excellent, my flight was full, but my seat was roomy. The one downside to the experience was they had games on the entertainment console. The guy behind me poked at my head about half the flight. I hope they get rid of this feature.

There were a lot of empty rows. As a single passenger I should not have been seated with 2 others. The WiFi didn’t work. The Kosher meal was awful.

They should. Heck planes more often not when they are suppose to be leaving causing delays

Thankfully not a full flight so although my headphone jack wasn’t working 100% on my window seat, I was able to move to the aisle seat. Food was fine, nothing great but tasty enough. Crew were friendly and made enough rounds. Always have a decent experience with Aer Lingus

Crew was fantastic got lovely food and plenty of water. Entertainment was good. Never had to ask for anything. Left on time and got to Seattle early. Luggage did not take long either.

Great hospitality and service! Seats are better cushioned then some

Great hospitality and service! Seats could always be cushioned better.

Customs is always a challenge. The customs officials were real humans, which was nice-not robots programmed on angry 😊. If you’re in a hurry to get through you’ll be stressed out. Allow yourselves plenty of time and it will be a stress free experience.

I got rerouted to another flight/city because the original flight was late and I would not have made my connection. I had to wait an additional five hours (no compensation) for the new flight which was also delayed because the computer was not working. Arrived at my final destination after nearly 20 hours of travel only to discover that my baggage had not arrived with me. Two days later and still waiting for my baggage. Customer service has been incredibly unhelpful and even hung up on me because I dared to ask for them to have someone call me when my bag arrived at the airport. No one apologized to me for what I experienced and they were dismissive of the fact that I have absolutely no clothes or toiletries. Absolutely awful, disorganized and stressful experience. Am dreading the return flight.

did not get the seats we had specially paid for

This is a no frills airline. You cant expect much for the price. Low cost flight, clean, nice staff. That's all I need for the price. If you want more, book with another airline and pay more. For Europe trips, PLAY is the ONLY airline I use

Misleading instructions for check in. Although I did virtual check in and was instructed to head to security, once I was at security, they told me to go back to Play ticket counter and get paper tickets. Also, beware that Play doesn’t participate in TSA PreCheck. I didn’t know that, despite entering PreCheck info when I purchased the tickets. I wasted time in the TSA PreCheck line as well. So we had two setbacks at check in.

It's a budget airline, so forewarned is forearmed. Yes, you pay for everything like carry-on, checked baggage, seat selection, but that's becoming the case with major airlines. Bringing your own snacks and entertainment on board is highly recommended. It's no frills, but the crew, the plane and the flight itself was great. If you want pampering go for a larger airline. If you just want to get from A to B in comfort and safety, Play is a great choice.

It is a low cost airline. Staff are courteous. There is no entertainment. Food is purchased.

Upon boarding, the people at the gate were extremely rude, there were no outlets on a 6 hour international flight, there was no entertainment, all food and drink was purchase only (even snacks), and my seat reclining function was fully broken. The only redeeming quality was the flight attendants were extremely nice. This was by far the worst flight I have ever been on in my entire life

I don’t know how international flights can’t have media screens to keep people entertained for the long flight. Ugh.

Typical experience for budget airline. Boarding from KEF required bus transit from the gate to plane, so if you had "priority boarding" it was useless as it was simply a free-for-all when getting off the bus. But still no issues with getting our luggage into overhead bin so not really a problem.

Was very apprehensive about flying Play, but the flight was fine. Nothing special, nothing horrible. Fair price to get from New York to Iceland.

I wasn’t able to check in online the day before or the day of because their web configuration or business model idk. I arrived an hour early and check was closed and there was no one around to speak to and eventually was told there was no possible way to get a digital ticket despite I had no luggage to check and would have easily made it through security to boarding and had to pay for a new ticket for $330 ontop of the $169 I spend for the ticket and then I missed my rental car for $305 because I only arrived at midnight instead of noon that I was originally intended. All booked through kayak. I hope there is some kind of insurance from kayak because this was totally preventable had I not been blocked by play air from getting my check in and plane ticket.

So Iceland Air is one step above Spirit Airlines. They do not feed you unless you pay for it or are in Saga Class. So, bring your food. They have a drink service, but it's in a large Dixie cup. Ask for the can, that is the only way you'll get a real drink. Also, we missed our connecting flight so they put us up in a flea-bag motel. Don't get me wrong, the staff was nice and friendly, however, there was no shower gel or shampoo in the hotel. We have to go to the corner store to pick some up. The room was not in great shape. Holes in the bathroom, a badly repaired ceiling in the room. The window was warn out. So, you get the just of how bad it was.

Food and staff were excellent. Seats on Saga (business class) are comparable to domestic first class of US Airlines, regarding space and recline. Entertainment options had little international component.

Flight delayed Delay to the gate upon arrival Baggage took more than an hour so we missed our connecting!!! Terrible experience!

There is no food without paying $. Only soft drinks are included in your fare.

Some drinks and basic snack will be good. Water should be served at least once an hour. Blankets for folks who might be cold.

Pros: "Flight was relatively empty. Professional crew, comfortable seats"
Cons: "I think they skipped me with food service. Checking up on passengers who may have been sleeping would be nice. Headphones need to be purchased. Limited entertainment options."
Cons: "Communication about international COVID requirements before the day of departure."
Pros: "My seat cushion was out of alignment so not great. But I like the two side seat configuration."
Cons: "Boarding is a zoo. Board by row. It’s faster."
Pros: "Icelandair crew were very hospitable and accompodating"
Cons: "I have never sat in such a narrow seat. Literally could not put my hand down the side to pull out my seat belt. Two days later I still have sores from where the side of the seats hit my hips. Did not even provide complimentary peanuts."
Cons: "Took far too long for drinks service into the flight. Almost 2 hours in before drinks came around to me"
