Due to one crew member not showing up to work, our flight was significantly delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight in Houston to Mississippi causing us to be delayed by more than 6 hours and missing our event all together. Very disappointing. All because ONE crew member called in sick. United did grant us a $15 meal voucher, which was a small but appreciated concession that I wasn’t able to use because I ordered my lunch and paid for it before applying the concession, and the staff said it was too late to use it. Ugh! We also had a TWO delay coming back from Mississippi, but that was on American Airlines and it was due to weather, so not their fault. Anyway, not at all impressed with United’s handling of our flight and the HUGE disappointment of missing our important family event for our 90 year old mother. All that money and all that stress and emotions for nothing. Having to wait the hour to bring an employee from LAX seemed like something that should not have happened. Why don’t you have a local back-up? Santa Ana is not a little airport in a rural area.

Trip was smooth bumpy from the wind but no issues at all the crew attendant was very pleasant and had great customer service

The customer service was excellent! Check-in, baggage check-in, boarding, the flight went very smooth.

Awful. I got stuck next to a person carrying a dog and behind someone with a dog. People need to board these dogs downstairs. The cabin is crowded enough with your pets

It was delayed several hours which delayed our connection in Denver. Not happy.

The plane boarded and deplaned twice before the crew timed out. Flight was 7 hours late departing. Horrible experience!

Got automatically assigned middle seats unless you fork out extra money for a seat assignment, not impressed.

Flight boarded without pilots. Sat on plane for 3 hrs. after over an hour late boarding. Plane never took off. Had to deplane near midnight. Line for rebooking was 3 hours + long. I had to leave.

No problems with flight. Even though I had a short layover in DFW, I was still able to easily make my connection.

Good flights. Departure and arrivals were on time. DFW was a little problematic in that the Skytrain without prior notice bypassed the Echo terminal so that delayed my arrival at my connecting flight.

Late boarding to clean plane from previous flight; initial boarding announcement not loud enough; fantastic cabin attendant front of plane

Delayed flight, few announcements with information, no comps, cluster f boarding because zones weren’t spread out and announced loud and repeatedly, staff did their job -nothing more nothing less, annoying kids were speaking and kicking the heck out of the back of my seat and parents weren’t willing to parent… so another typical day of air travel in the US.,

Turbulence was bad and flight attendants gossiped about going to the bar and dating. Could have better awareness.

Didn't like the 6 hour delay as it caused me to miss all of my connections. Still, I did get home safely 14 hours late but exhausted.

Flight attendants had no personality! The looked miserable! My seat was broken in first class. I can’t believe how American Airlines changed. 😞

Beware of all the extras. Nickel and dimed. Everything was extra. It turns a $90 fare in to a $400 fair quite easily.

It wasn’t as horrible as I would have expected, however, to not provide water and change so much for bags is a ripoff to say the least.

Well those seats! Man! On a short flight tolerable but too stiff and lack of cushioning make a longer flight uncomfortable. Good leg room tho, but I’m only 5’3”….

The issue I have is when we landed in Vegas (Dallas to Vegas). It seems as if we were traveling too fast during landing. I’m not sure what is was but it seems as if the nose of plane banged the ground making a loud bam nose. We went back into the air instantly. It took about 5 minutes for the pilot or someone to say a wind drift caused the hard landing, and that we would land in about 5 minutes. Many of us passengers did not believe the reason given. The second attempt was much smoother but this does not make me want to fly spirit again. The flight from Detroit to Dallas was fine.

Would recommend to support give water in cups for free to the passengers.

The flight was really great I was surprised with Spirit.

Paying for cabin luggage is not fair. I was unable to pay for luggage through website due to error message. The agent on phone charged me $89 however I should have been charged $57. I am therefore requesting a refund of $32 for carry on luggage. The agent said to make claim through chat and the chat function is not working.

I have no complaints, and that’s enough to make it a positive experience.

A small snack. And maybe a short explanation of why we have to keep the window shades open on takeoff and landing.

this flight was better than most flights I have taken, flight attendants were very friendly and considerate of some minor inconveniences we encountered but Spirit boarding/check-in staff is always disappointing no matter where we are.
