Kayak for iPhone Support

PLEASE NOTE: there is a bug in 1.6 with 24-hour time. If you have your iPhone in 24-hour time mode, searches will CRASH. We will have a fix submitted to Apple by the end of the day today (Oct 2).

If the Kayak application is crashing a lot, especially on startup delete the application from your iPhone and re-install it from the app store. This fixes that problem most of the time.

Known Issues (stuff we are working on for the next update):

1. Hotel "close" filtering sometimes gets confused.
2. Occasional crashes during searches.
3. App doesn't always return to same page you were on when you quit/got a phone call/etc

Common suggestions/questions:

1. The iPhone app is US-only. We plan on release versions for other countries and currencies (UK, France, Germany) later this year.
2. Can we add multi-city/flex date searching? Probably not. Our goal for the app is to aid the mobile traveler. It's not meant to be a replacement for our web site as a complete travel planner. There are many, many features we want to add that make sense on a mobile device (and that don't make as much sense on a web site). We'd like to address those before we get to more advanced features like multi-city itineraries.
3. Can I have a list of recent/favorite searches? That's on our list.

Thanks for trying our new app. If you encounter problems, the more details you can provide the better. In particular, if you have search result errors, the dates and origin/destination of your trip are the most important things to tell us.
