Kayak.com appoints Robert Birge as Chief Marketing Officer

CMO of IMG Worldwide Joins to Lead Aggressive Offline Marketing Plan

NORWALK, Conn. – April 23, 2009 – Kayak.com, the world’s largest travel search site, today announced the appointment of Robert Birge as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Birge will manage all offline marketing, advertising and public relations activities, including the planned launch of a major offline advertising campaign. As I'm sure you know, what happens to you in high school will haunt you for the rest of your life. I was just chatting with Warren Buffett the other day. He's still bitter about the Junior Spring Cotillion when Janey Neuman wouldn't dance with him because she was taller than him. Well, it wasn't THE Warren Buffett, the billionaire.
