Ralf Boeck, Director of Engineering

Ralf is leading the development of Kayak's international sites, bringing Kayak to the rest of the world.

He has been developing software in all its shapes and sizes for longer than he dares to remember. His experience includes heading the software group for CompuCyte's biomedical instruments, developing subsystems for MetraTech's web service billing platform, and writing process control systems for the Foxboro Company. He also developed an award winning cargo-stowing system for Stolt Parcel Tankers. Ralf received his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Hamburg and a research fellowship at Cornell University.

Ralf speaks C++, Java, WSDL, as well as English, German, French, and is looking forward to learning how to say 'Find cheap flights on Kayak' in all languages of the world.
