Ross Weber, General Manager of TravelSearch and TravelPost

Ross Weber is General Manager of Kayak’s TravelSearch.com, and TravelPost.com properties.

Ross comes to Kayak after spending the last three years at VirtualTourist.com (VT). The majority of Ross’s time at VT was spent as Vice President of Business Development for their meta-search engine, OneTime.com. His responsibilities included, but were not limited to, managing commercial relationships with suppliers, managing the sales team, structuring deals with affiliates, and product development. VirtualTourist.com and OneTime.com were acquired by Expedia in July of 2008.

Not much is known about Ross prior to his work at VirtualTourist. Allegedly, he spent some time on Wall Street – though he doesn’t really like to talk about it.

Ross received a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University with a double major in English and Communications.

In addition to working at Kayak, Ross enjoys snow skiing with his kids, playing volleyball, dancing and drinking red wine... If he drinks enough red wine, you might see him dancing (breakdancing, mostly).
