Starwood has put rooms at hundreds of its hotels on sale through midnight tomorrow. Good for stays through Jan. 18 (and through April 25, 2010 at some resorts), the discounted offerings mean as much as 50 percent off regular rack rates at participating hotels and resorts from brands such as Le Meridien, St. Regis and W Hotels.

Heading to The Netherlands in the coming months? Home to pod-like rooms with high-tech amenities offered at relatively affordable rates, CitizenM locations in Amsterdam are giving away free nights each week to Facebook fans and Twitter followers.

The TSA ban on liquids apparently isn’t as universal as we thought. First, you’ll need a little luck on your side, as tickets are available to the general public only through a lottery system. But there are, thankfully, quite a few to be had.
