Airlines That Lose the Most Luggage |
 USA Today had a nice chart up yesterday with its story Payment Goes Up for Luggage Lost by Airlines (an interesting story in and of itself). You'll have to click through to view it, but it shows that the following airlines were the most likely to lose or mishandle passengers' bags in 2006:
Atlantic Southeast
American Eagle
Comair
Mesa
SkyWest
And these were the airlines that were least likely to lose or mishandle bags for the same year:
Hawaiian
JetBlue
Northwest
AirTran
Continental
All this is according to Department of Transportation data collected for domestic flights only.
