The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is back in the news just days after making headlines earlier in the week for winning Michael Jackson's famed white glove at auction. But this time, we're betting the Las Vegas resort isn't as happy about all its latest spate of publicity.

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Las Vegas will soon have a new attraction for guests and visitors: Michael Jackson's famous white glove, which the Sin City destination reportedly paid $48,000 for at an auction over the weekend.

You know what they say: when one door closes, another one opens. Today in Las Vegas, the latter comes in the form of the new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Paradise Tower, officially opened today. But today's closing in Sin City? You'll have to head over to the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino for that.

Beyonce will end her I AM... world tour this summer with a four-night appearance (July 30-Aug 2) at the Wynn Las Vegas Encore Theater, the smallest venue the singer will visit during her 2009 North American concert series. With fewer than 1,500 seats, the theater offers a chance to see the singer perform in a setting that's much more intimate than the larger venues she's using for the rest of her tour.

Though there are reportedly a small number of individual tickets being sold to the general public, the majority are going to fans willing to tack on two nights at the Wynn.
