We've got to admit that we're pretty amazed by some of the MacGyver-esque moves displayed by British comedian George Egg in his Hotel Survival video. Baking bread on top of an iron? Nothing if not daring. Boiling pasta in the in-room tea kettle (a staple amenity in UK hotels)? Definitely innovative.
While our inner germaphobes (not to mention our inner room service addicts) would likely prevent us from trying these in-room cooking strategies during our next hotel stay, we still have to give Egg props for taking D.I.Y.
