Franklin Hotel Opens in Chapel Hill |
 The 67-room Franklin Hotel has opened in Chapel Hill, NC. Touted as the college town's first luxury boutique hotel in the downtown area offers accommodations along Franklin St., as well as high-speed Internet access, in-room spa services, an upscale breakfast restaurant, parking and ample meeting space. Information available through the independently-owned and operated property's web site is sparse, but I was able to get some ballpark rates.
For a Friday night stay on March 16, 2007, room rates ranged from $176 for a classic corner double queen room or a king classic room overlooking West Franklin Street on up to $650/night for the presidential penthouse suite.
