 Hotel Indigo Dallas opened last week. Formerly a Holiday Inn property, the newly renovated 170-room hotel is aimed at business travelers who want affordable, but aesthetically pleasing accommodations with modern amenities in downtown Dallas's central business district.
A few unique or notable room features you'll find at Hotel Indigo(s):
- Rooms have hardwood floors and area rugs (as opposed to the ubiquitous hotel carpet)
- Bathrooms offer showers, not bathtubs
- Free high-speed Internet access in the room
There is a restaurant onsite, as well as a fitness room and cocktail bar. One of the hotel's signature concepts is to change the decor, artwork, murals and other details throughout the year so the hotel always looks fresh and new. I haven't been inside an Indigo yet, so I can't say exactly how this is done...
