How to Get an Upgrade on US Airways

us airwaysWant to instantly become a US Airways Preferred member and suck up on benefits like unlimited first class upgrades and priority check-in and boarding? All you have to do is plunk down $200 to join the US Airways Trial Preferred Program. You'll immediately be bumped from regular status to silver. You can also pay more to attain gold and platinum status. The fee covers a 90-day trial period - to keep your new status, you'll have to fly a minimum number of miles (7,500 to 22,500 depending on the status level) during that time. Achieve that, and you're locked in as a Preferred traveler through February 2009.
