Hoxton Hotel Attracts Budget Business in London

hoxton hotelThe Hoxton Hotel, a new London lodging option launched Sept. 1 by the owner of the eponymous Pret A Manger food chain, seeks to solve an age-old problem with city lodging: high costs. Instead of charging an arm and a leg for basic accommodations, the Hoxton Hotel offers a no-smoking policy, contemporary decor and upscale amenities like Frette linens, flat screen TVs, free wireless Internet accesss and a complimentary Lite Pret Breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Rates generally range from 89 to 119 GBP/night for twin or double guestroom, but the hotel is offering some special introductory rates for 59 GBP/night right now. If you want to score the special low rate, I'd recommend calling the hotel directly. I had trouble finding the advertised rates using the online booking engine. Another perk? Late check-out costs just 5 GBP for each hour you stay past noon. Oh, and there's also a French bistro onsite. Hoxton Hotel official site
