Using the new site HotelsMadeSimple, I learned that Dec. 3rd is one day you can expect to find pretty substantial deals on room rates at big city hotels across the U.S. during the coming weeks. Why? Well, it makes sense - it's the Sunday after Thanksgiving, and the vast majority of travelers are heading home after a long weekend of stuffing their faces.
