Orbitz Updates - Information Hub for Airports

Online travel agencies and airlines always seem to be rolling out one new web feature or another, and, usually, I don't get that excited about them. But recently launched Orbitz Traveler Updates is pretty cool. Basically, you can use the site from a computer or mobile device to find real-time information about security line wait times, flight delays, traffic incidents in the area, weather, parking tips and user-generated comments and advice from fellow travelers. There isn't much user-generated content for many of the 40 airports included in the new service, and the amount of that kind of content could really make or break the site - as far as its usefulness to frequent travelers is concerned. But I've got to give Orbitz props for the idea. I'd like to see this gain traction in the coming weeks and months. I mean, how nice would it be to be able to check one single site for information about your home airport minutes before heading there and assess things like traffic, security wait times, FAA information and tips from other travelers about the best places and prices for parking, eating, etc.?
