Playa del Carmen: Riu Palace Riviera Maya Opens |
 The Riu Palace Riviera Maya all-inclusive resort opened last week. Located 1.8 miles from Playa del Carmen and 34 miles south of Cancun, the beachfront resort property offers 400 rooms, an all-inclusive food and beverage plan, nightclubs, tennis courts, fitness facilities, watersports and daily entertainment.
To celebrate its opening, the hotel is offering a special rate of $185 per person/night through April 16, 2006.
