Lucky little dogs now have a new amenity in store at the Ritz Carlton Sarasota: doggie massage. For $130, guests can order up a rubdown for their pampered pooch. Massages are administered by staff from the hotel's spa. For $350, guests can treat their dogs to a Pampered Pup Package, which includes a massage, scenic walk, pet poop disposal kit, an organic doggie stew, Evian water, gourmet dog biscuits, a manicure and souvenir photo. Pampering indeed! If the service does well at this Ritz location, it may be offered at other properties in the future. But even if that happens, dogs over 20 pounds will miss out. That's the weight limit allowed for overnight canine guests.
