Seattle Art Museum To Close Thru '06 |

The Seattle Art Museum plans to close on Jan. 4, 2006 to undergo major renovations and expansion projects. The downtown museum will be 70 percent larger after a new facility opens up next door and the project is complete. Re-opening is tenatively slated for early 2007.
