The Buff: All-Sport Headwear |
 Meet the Buff. It hails from Barcelona, but made its way to me via some friendly folks in Wyoming (which, incidentally, has some of the cheapest fuel prices in the country) who were nice enough to contribute to the Lorraine swag fund (which has a similar mission to George Costanza's now-defunct Human Fund).  The Buff is a tube of fabric that one wears on one's head during outdoor activity. But it is not just an ordinary tube of fabric. Mais non. In addition to wicking away sweat and providing UV protection, the Buff comes in different fabrics and prints for different seasons. You can also wear it in a variety of ways: headband, ponytail holder, do-rag, knit cap, etc. You can even get it with a visor. Good stuff for summer beach hangs, hiking, under a helmet if you're biking or just for keeping the hair out of your face in windy weather (boating, for example). The Buff official site |
