Once you've gotten used to the way an RSS reader works, it's hard to go back to actually typing in URLs and buggering around with search engines and checking email inboxes for daily updates from various entities... like travel web sites. To feed the tech-savvy traveler, Travelocity has recently added Travelocity RSS Deals to its cadre of customer service offerings. You sign up to receive deals on airfare to and from a list of cities (you choose them), and, quite like magic, the fare alerts appear in your RSS reader as they become available.
