We've always loved hotels with resident pets. Sure, the presence of a canine ambassador like Sandie, the dog "In.Bassador" at the Hotel Indigo in San Diego, might not be the main reason we'd book a stay at a hotel we'd never tried before. But it might tip the scales if we were deciding between two otherwise equal properties.
