6.0 Okay
Beds aren’t that comfortable, lots of amenities are closed due to Covid (no room service, restaurant is closed), most parking is paid, very few free spots, but the balcony is nice, the lagoon and pool is great and the location is fantastic, anchoring one end of the historic Kailua village with lots of restaurants and shops. They really need to make the sliding glass doors double paned because we were woken up daily by neighbors talking on their balcony, gardeners, kids screaming at the pool, something every day. The front desk is tortuously slow at everything, they’re sloths.
A
4.0 Mediocre
Pros:The views and central location are phenomenal, you are going to be hard pressed to find a better ocean view right in downtown Kona.
Cons:The facilities are very out dated, the rooms need serious attention. The beds where like sleeping on coils and are super thin, the bathroom shower was comparable to an airplane bathroom. The entire facility needs a renovation because what is being charged vs. what you get are far from expectations.

Pros:Location, location, location.
Cons:Price was indicative of location and high demand.
A
7.4 Good
Pros:Location and room size
Cons:Rooms are pretty old and need renovation. We were 4 people in a room and every day we had to ask to two additional towels as they will only leave 2 in the room.
A
7.4 Good
Pros:The view.
Cons:The room situation. We asked for a one bed but ended up with two small beds.
A
8.8 Very good
Pros:The location to the ocean was amazing. My corner room in the middle the tower had its balcony wrap around for an amazing view and amazing sound of the ocean. I could sleep to that forever!
Cons:Pool open later. More things available for later in the day.
B
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:We absolutely enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting again!!
A
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:the food and service staff were excellent.
A
7.7 Good
Pros:location
Cons:room lighting poor, checkin procedure (room not ready at 4:50pm even though checkin at 4pm), wifi extra charge
A
4.8 Mediocre
Pros:The bar and the lagoon
Cons:During our check in we found out that they didn’t have 2 double room I ordered. Instead we were forced to stay in a king room with a very uncomfortable roll out. We were the first people in line at 3:45, and apparently arrived right before the rush. We were told that th room wasn’t ready and we were early so oh well. Instead of trying to get us checked in ASAP the front desk lady took care of approximately 10 people (the whole line) then got around to us. We waited 35 minutes so she could take care of the entire line even though we were first. Bad customer service!
