Clean comfortable room, with great access to downtown venues. Right next to rail and bus terminal for easy access to DFW and urban areas. People in area friendly and quick to help, As with most major cities homeless are present, but in Dallas they kept to themselves and the area was clean. Local transit officers and police were visible and interacting with the public.
Location isn’t great. Lots of homeless people harassing you the moment you walk outside in any direction. I killed a cockroach in my room. The building itself is old and sort of run down. Elevator takes forever, and my room itself has all sorts of issues. The shower drain was clogged, so each time I shower, I'm standing in a pool of slippery drain water. The light in my bathroom kept random turning off. The service was bad too. I requested they serviced my room on my last day and they never came. It’s one of the cheaper options in downtown, so I guess you get what you pay for, but next time, I’m gonna pay a little more to stay somewhere better.
Nice location right downtown. Nice staff It was fine but the hotel needs an update. The bed didnt have a bed skirt, the HVAC vent cover was off, the vanity looked like it was it about to fall off, sliding glass door had little to no insulation so we could hear every word spoken / yelled on the street at all times, shower leaked, etc
Pros. Amazing hotel.nice staff.
Cons. Our room had not been cleaned properly. Someone’s dirty wash cloth was hanging in the shower.there were tissues on the counter and someone’s hair stuck to the side of the counter top.
Pros. Nothing. The third party you had me book through (Cancelon) did exactly that and canceled my reservation because the room "isn't available". I stayed in an AirBnB.
Cons. It would have been better if I could have stayed in the room I booked rather than having it canceled on me 12 hours after I made the reservation.
Pros. na
Cons. It would be a good idea to spray bug killer to get ride of any bugs....COCKROACHES to be exact....
Pros. The location was great and the beds were comfortable.
Cons. It's not super clean and there's a lot of small details that made the experience harder. The bathrooms were tiny and the shower curtain didn't even cover the entire shower. someone told me it was one of the oldest hotels in Dallas and it shows.
Cons. Several reasons this hotel gets a negative rating. 1. It's older and a little musty. 2. The air conditioning makes a loud sound every time it turns on throughout the nigh. 3. It's right next to what seems like a homeless encampment. Very scary to walk through especially at night. 4. They charged my credit card twice! Now I have to wait for the extra charge to come off my card and they didn't even offer me any type of credit or complimentary breakfast or anything! Overall just a bad hotel.
Pros. It was clean
Cons. The restaurant was not a good place to eat
Pros. The only thing the hotel had going for it was its location. And may be one friendly front desk agent
Cons. Room key stopped working after first night They charged me an extra day of parking when I only stayed 3 days not 4 THey charged my credit card $250 cleaning fee when I never smoked in the room or hotel. Then you call and call and the GM brain. Never returns voicemails that you left him Your betting off staying at the many other hotels in he area. This crown plaza should be renamed motel 6
