There is a lot of construction around the hotel and several abandoned buildings on the walk to the office which made me concerned for my safety. The hotel itself was OK.
Cons. Not enough shampoo, soap, etc. No water in the room
Pros. My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night while I was in town visiting her and we had an amazing time. She lives in Dallas but we took a night in a hotel just for a nice change of scenery and had an experience we will remember forever. The room was spectacular but I have to mention the service first. Our friend at the front desk, Angelina Fiorini, was incredibly pleasant to talk to and helpful. one of the best hotel front desk staff I've talked with in a long time. Even though my girlfriend and I were there for a private night away we were still desighted to have a long conversation with her. After our chat we went up to the room. Angelina gave us a junior suite which was well decorated and filled with quality furniture, a comfy bed and a great bathroom. We decided if we ever live in a house it should feel like this place. Glad we got to stay at the stoneleigh and will definitely come back when we need a comfortable spot in Dallas.
Cons. There was no fitted sheet on the bed.
Pros. Great location in uptown. A nice, modern look.
Cons. Mandatory $25 valet was unexpected
Pros. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and very spacious walk-in closets.
Cons. The handle that controlled the water was not working so you would eaither take a cold shower or a burning hot shower.
Pros. Nice, comfortable rooms. Spacious. Nice decor, great breakfast place and bar in the hotel. Very nice, helpful staff. Great location.
Pros. The hotel it's very nice, elegant, clean close to Ritz Carlton or super high end hotels for 1/2 of the money.
Cons. Staff it's nice but maybe that's the difference with hotels that charge 500 USD per night.
