Pros. Everything
Cons. Ok
Pros. The kids had fun since they were oblivious to the conditions.
Cons. Beds were terrible. The water park is in bad shape. Old and worn out. Only 2 life guards!! Make sure you watch your kids!!!
Pros. the kids had movie night .
Cons. n/a
Pros. I did not like this resort at all. It advertises itself as a family type resort. If you have a family, especially with smaller children, this is definately not the place to bring them. I honestly cannot find one good thing to say about this resort. This is more of a local resident place to stay, as opposed to someone who is going to another state to be able to relax and enjoy themselves.
Cons. It is advertised as a family resort, with pools and slides. I paid over $1100.00 for a 11 day stay, only to find out upon arrival that to be able to use the pools you have to pay an extra $200.00. I honestly feel when you are going on a vacation you should not have to pay to use the pool Park which is part of the main advertising of the resort. First night there I was welcomed by bed bug bites as were my children. I stayed two days and had to check out and find somewhere else to stay. The two nights we were there,we would walk around the resort and the smell of people smoking marijuana was overwhelming. I cannot understand how an establishment that advertises as a family resort would permit this to happen. I am sure that I cannot be the first person to mention this to management. And upon checkout I was assured reimbursement of my balance. This took three days of my vacation trying to get the hotel to authorize the payment. I could go on, but I would never recommend staying here to anyone.
Pros. Manager was intoxicated. Argumentative. A dick.
Pros. I liked the lobby and the customer service. The scheduled activities seemed very nice and family friendly. You have good effort in mind. It all seems a good work in progress. The maintanence staff was very friendly and welcoming. One final, thank you, for extending the use of the waterpark after checkout which I have not seen in other places. That was something very appreciated.
Cons. The waterpark needs more attendants who can be welcoming, dedicated and show a sense of happiness to work there. The rooms definitely need uograde. My TV box had only one channel ,the beds were squeaky and the obscene vocabulary around young children at play can do without. But of course you have no power of others.
Pros. Everything was great!!!!!
Pros. Staff was courteous
Cons. Overpriced!!!! After all fees I paid about $120/night -_- most definitely not worth that much money!! This place is worth about $40/night. The slides need to be serviced/replaced. Only one pool which was small and therefore overcrowded and was not chlorinated correctly. My 9yr old was over the slides/pool after the first day and my 7yr old got sick somehow. I am Hispanic but this place is beyond ethnic in terms of guest population. Maybe its the area??? Kids were running wild.. unattended. We didn't get much sleep with people playing loud music all night and there were people smoking right outside our room door, speaking of rooms, I had a "waterpark view room" on the first floor, which was actually a view of a gate with weeds and bushes LOL. The bed was comfy but pillows are curiously small LOL it was strange. Anyhow, I would rather have stayed at another hotel and paid to go to wet and wild or any other real waterpark. Definitely on my NOT TO DO LIST. Would never waste my money like this again.
Cons. When we got there they required a $100.00 deposit I wasn't aware of, they were gonna charge $25.00 a day resort fee I had to prove the site said $8.00. The hot tub is located in the waterslide area which closes at 6 PM, so since we actually didn't get to use it. Why would 2 adults with no kids want to pay for water park admission just to use a hot tub that closes at 6 PM. The tiki bar was under construction and closed at 10. Very very limited and expensive menu, prices look fair until they add convience fees to each item you order and they don't offer room service so where is the convience? House keeping took our used towels everyday as expected, but when we got to the room each evening we had to call for towels because they didn't replace them.
Pros. The water park was nicely sized and secure. The staff was friendly.
Cons. The fees for using the water park. Resort fee didn't cover the water park admission. The restaurant could have had a better menu other than burgers and fries basically.
