Not even close to Marriott quality hotel. This is an old budget hotel that has had lipstick put on it to mask its age and quality. The entrance and foyer are very nice but the rooms are small, bathroom was tiny and dirty, AC was loud, and overall the room was a surprise disappointment. Our friends (with 2 younger kids) got stuck in a broken elevator on arrival, and no one responded to the call button for help, until they texted us and housekeeping finally assisted. Fire department had to come and rescue them. The hotel did nothing for them and didn’t even help them crawl or get their luggage out of the stuck elevator. Staff didn’t even upgrade their room after this. Really hate to be so negative but there is more… - The room had no windows open but there were beetles / bugs appearing numerous times. - bed was not made when we arrived although housekeeping did come shortly after - the coffee shop in the foyer charges a mandatory 18% gratuity, then prints a receipt for additional tips, and then hands you 2 empty coffee cups to get the coffee yourself! - there were only ever 3 shower towels in the bathroom even though we were a family of 4 and they were not replaced daily even when they were placed on the floor - bathroom and toilet were permanently dirty and rusty - sheets were not replaced during the stay - you will pay about $50 more per night for a resort fee and for parking, which was not overly clear at time of purchase Positives: - there are 2 pools, one heated, and a small water slide which is fun for the kids - pool serving staff were friendly Overall this was a pretty bad hotel, especially for Marriott. Strongly recommend going elsewhere.
What a huge disappointment. Our room smelled of mildew and was disgusting. The floor was wet and it was horrible in the bathroom as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We actually checked out early and moved to a better hotel.
It is a very nice hotel. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms are nice. The staff is friendly and the free coffee and water is a nice touch. Having to go to the lobby to receive deliveries is inconvenient.
The staff were courteous and professional.
