Room was very spacious and affordable. A few miles from Fremont St but I was able to Uber or catch the bus.
Rio is on older hotel. You're getting value for your money, not a true Vegas experience.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Kayak listed prepaid price as TOTAL price with all fees included. Hotel tacked on bogus $45 resort fee. Hotel and Kayak would not refund when I refused to pay additional fee and cancelled reservation.
The room was dirty !!! We had no hot water the whole time we stayed there!!! No bottle water in the room!!! The bed sheets were dirty ☹️☹️☹️ Over all I will no go back there to stay again☹️☹️☹️
I reserved a room with a King size bed, but one wasn't available. So I received a room with 2 queen size beds, the view from the room was amazing. They removed 2 resort fee's for the inconvenience which I appreciate. I had a very nice stay, everyone I encountered was very nice.
The place just needs to undergo the renovations it has planned. Last year (during the Star Trek convention), I was told that the Rio would be renovated in time for *this* year's convention, but that was definitely not the case. Still, it was decently comfortable! I wish the AC throughout the convention area wasn't as strong (even in the heat of Vegas) and that the poker room had been open and available, but it was still good, fun, and got me through the weekend!
Facility is too old and needs to be revamped.
First of all we didn’t have any hot water in our room and complained multiple times and no one did anything. The room was ok but not clean. The casino was smelly and the overall crowd was not it for us. We will not be staying here again and it’s for the best it will be closing soon.
Location is perfect short ride to the strip and old Las Vegas glad it’s not super crowded like the hotel on the strip. Food was ok , we upgraded to a suite seems like it hasn’t been renovated or cleaned in years. Stain a everywhere but the view was amazing ! Plus side slots were great !
