Pros. The staff was amazing and the location was perfect.
Cons. The tv program options were awful and our bathtub was dirty.
Pros. Location for theatre and culture
Cons. Having a 12.5% service charge added to a drink I bought at the bar (went to the bar to buy it so no added service beyond normal bar duties). Public hotel areas well equipped but very dusty in harder to reach areas. Room had all amenities but nothing special.
Pros. This was literally right in the center of everything I was easily able to walk to everything I wanted within the first day. Also the staff was amazing.
Cons. That I didn’t stay long enough. The bed was so comfortable I knocked out, so nothing really wrong.
Pros. The Grand lived up to it's name, with a quiet, posh feel. Very comfy bed, and the staff were above and beyond in helpfulness, politeness and friendliness. Breakfast, while costly, was exceptionally well varied and high quality. And the location was superb! Everything was walkable if you wanted. If not, access to taxis, London bus tours, and the subway system was also right at hand. Overall, a great choice!
