Pros. The reservation was canceled due to the virus.
Cons. Don't know bc we didn't go to NO.
Cons. They charge multiple things that weren’t my charges.... when I went to the front desk to talk to them about it they told me it was taken care of. It was not, I had to call the hotel chain multiple times. We had to shut off my card while I was down there to stop them from charging more. I spoke with several guests they told me double tree is known for that. I will never stay at another double tree for business or leisure again!
Pros. Comfort of the room was fantastic. Breakfast selection was good.
Cons. The hallways near the service elevators are right above the restaurant. Therefore the smell comes up those elevator shafts and into those hallways.
Pros. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room while a bit small was comfortable and we were able to get adjoining rooms with our friends. Dining was very good and accommodating. Dining costs were about average. We flew in and used Uber or walked so I can't speak to parking.
Cons. Maybe a better listing or area dining. The only other issue we had was a very noisy fan in the bathroom, so if I got up during the night it would wake my wife or visa versa. If you wanted to leave the light on you had to put up with the grinding of the fan. Sounds petty but it was annoying for such a nice hotel. I believe our friends had the same experience.
Pros. Great beds and excellent location in New Orleans.
Cons. the only issue was the room next to us. they were loud and making noise all night long. no way to get any rest. we was in room 807 and they was in 808. other than that everything was fine.
Pros. Access to downtown .
Cons. Offsite parking was a mess. You have to wait too long to receive your vehicle when you want to go somewhere.
Pros. location
Cons. the air conditioner could not get adjusted I was cold all night
Pros. Its in front Of The Harras Casino And Walking distance from every were in downtown
Cons. room is poorly isolated and hear all the noise neighbors
Pros. good location accessible to french quarter, canal and many sites
Cons. Parking atrocious, charge for internet, facilities (lobby, restaurant and others) minimal, rooms adequate, staff not real visible, but helpful when requested
