Staff is incredibly nice.
Pros. Bed was very comfortable. Room was super clean. Also the facility was very well kept. No overflowing trash bins in the laundry room or the vending machine area. Staff was friendly and professional.
Cons. Since this hotel doesn’t do free continental breakfast but does have Keurig coffee machines in the rooms, it’d be really nice if they provided a broader selection of condiments: sugar, Equal, Splenda, not just Sweet n’Low (which most people detest), as well as creamer. No biggie, just a suggestion. One major downside to our stay is the separate parking fee. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the parking is a separate bill. Not sure if that is a Louisiana thing or what, but it certainly caused problems (my car was booted snd I ended up paying $118 for the removal), and for other patrons as well. Because of that situation, we missed an excursion which costed $75. I don’t know how this can be corrected. Maybe INCLUDE the price of the parking with the hotel booking fee? Something needs to be done. That nearly ruined our vacation.
Pros. location Beds were nice
Cons. Air conditioning. Blows right into the beds. Too strong even on low. Loud. Never seen a setup where one of these types of conditioners is on the same side as the bed. Lousy TV service. Glitchy and lousy interface. Room smells old and used. Broken table.
Pros. The place was outstanding! Thank you Kendall for suggesting The Bombay Club!
Cons. More selection on the tv but I wasn’t there to watch tv Hahahaha, regardless that’s my only thing. Other than that it was perfect!
Pros. Very close to SuperDome and Smoothie King Center if in town for games. About a 15-20 walk to the French Quarter if looking for that classic NOLA feel of food, music, historical places including Bourbon Street. However, it a great spot if on a business trip.
Cons. It’s a bit of a walk to the French Quarter where most of the Tourists places are in.
Pros. Ran into a "problems" with the room (bathtub wasn't draining properly) and that was taken care of swiftly (literally, within minutes of my calling the front desk!). Otherwise, clean, spacious room. The heated pool is a big plus! Worth the extra fee bucks for a pool-side room! The staff was supremely friendly and helpful.
Cons. Frankly, I was thoroughly pleased.
Cons. $300 a night for a Motel 6 class room? Heavy Construction started at 7 AM on a Saturday , right outside our window. Parking Garage was a nightmare
Cons. Bathroom was flooded with water from a leaky ceiling
Pros. The rooms are a decent size and the beds are super comfy! We enjoyed our stay the staff was super kind and helpful. I would use this hotel again when traveling to New Orleans again! Everything was clean and when we asked if things to do or places to eat the staff definitely sent us in the right direction and we were never disappointed! Look forward to coming back!
Pros. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They went the extra mile with a smile on their faces and really tried hard to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Very much appreciated.
