I like the elevators just push The floor you going on and it will let you know what elevator to get in. I love that.
Everyone was extremely nice and very attentive
Adding all the factors up, it was probably the worst stay at a hotel I have had. For the price and amenities it was just not worth it. Room was alright but the person next to us was screaming and slamming stuff at 2am. Front desk had to be called and that didn’t do anything. Told them at the front desk on the morning and they were pretty uncaring, more just a “sorry about that”. Water pressure was bad, no parking validation for the attached garage (only alternative is a more expensive valet parking), hotel layout is strange and everyone was confused where to go by hearing them talk. My opinion is to use a different hotel in the area.
Cons. The design of the building itself is very odd. To get to the elevators that access the rooms you have to walk about 800 feet from the front desk. It’s a very strange design. I observed people getting lost in the hotel.
Pros. Nice modern hotel
Cons. Put hand soap in guest rooms prior to check in
Pros. Nice building
Cons. Almost everything
Pros. Work out room, Starbucks, location, staff, room, everything....
Cons. a little better explanation at check about elevators.
Pros. NA
Cons. I called 15 minutes after checking out because I left an item in my fridge and I was told my room hadn’t been cleaned yet so it should have been found. I later went to pick up my item at around 11:30 and since housekeeping wasn’t there no one had access to the lost and found. I had no update on my item and housekeeping never checked it in even though no one else had access to my room.
Pros. I attended a conference there so the facilities were nice and clean. I enjoyed the amount of restaurants and the affordability of them. The location is also stellar.
Cons. At least 2 lamps in my room didn't work. That was a major issue. Also, one of my rings that I didn't wear ended up on the floor after the housekeeper came by.
Pros. Was nice hotel - not much really close to the hotel but the french quarter is in walking distance.
Cons. our AC broke one night so it was 80+ degrees in the room and we had to wait up for an hour at 2am to get someone from the hotel staff to reset the thermostat. There was also quite a bit of road noise, even up at the 10th floor - was woken up by a garbage truck in the middle of the night.
