Pros. The lady on third shift was really nice. It was close to Superdome.
Cons. First room smelled of Pot, the people next to us were smoking it heavily. The second room heater did not work and there were roaches and bugs everywhere. The elevators were broken. The place looked nothing like the pictures. Homeless guy sleeping the lounge area. This place is just and in and out for drugs and prostitution. I had two children with me. I have never stayed in something so awful. If i would have had the extra money. i would have found somewhere else to stay.
Pros. nothing
Cons. everything
Cons. Dirty, room wasn't ready when we arrived at check in. Not a good part of town, half mile walk to anything. Did not apologize for any of their wrongdoings and we are still fighting them for a refund.
Cons. Not only was this hotel situated in a very dangerous neighborhood (Tulane Ave is notorious for gangland shootings), but the property manager failed to provide basic amenities (didn't have running hot water). When I confronted her about her shortsiding, she failed to provide a refund and had a very nasty attitude towards me. I would recommend travelers to stay far away from this establishment at all costs.
Pros. There were beds and there was a roof. Sorta.
Cons. No customer service. Lucky if you walk out WITHOUT being yelled at. Shady with your credit card. I had to dispute a charge they made without telling me. The elevator was broken and we were on the 4th floor. Maybe I'm spoiled but I usually expect more than a nod and a blank stare when I talk to someone who is supposed to be a customer service rep.
Pros. The staff was very polite and professional. The location was great because we were going to Voodoo Fest which was held in City Park. Easy less than $10 cab ride. The beds were reasonably comfortable.
Cons. The area was sketchy. We arrived at night and were not sure we were at the right place. The carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. The room was very bare bones as far as decor, which is fine because it was very, very inexpensive. The shower drain was gross and clearly clogged.
Pros. Absolutely nothing even remotely acceptable about this "hotel".
Cons. Horrible Staff Uncomfortable beds. Cleanliness nonexistent. Shower didn't work. Windows didn't lock. Dirty everything. Too expensive for what it is. How it's still in business is beyond my friends and I. Some people gave this place more than one star??? Only reason they get one from me it's because I can't give them a negative star rating. Did i mentioned the staffs lack of professionalism? A simple attempt on being kind to the people that have contributed to the fact that you're still employed would suffice.
Pros. Worthless
Cons. It was humiliation to have to stay there.
Cons. Not safe. Don't go there. Prostitution. Broken down rooms.
Cons. I got a non smoking room but the room smelled like cigarettes, the sheets had scorch marks, some of the outlets didn't work and no internet
