The car rental place - Dollar Rental - was closed. They modified their operating hours (I guess because of coronavirus?) so when I got there, it was already closed, even though I was on time to my reservation. I was stuck in the rain looking for another car rental place that was open. I had to take a Lyft there and rent a more expensive car. I spent $65 instead of $21. Please work better with your providers to update operating hours so that people can avoid this negative experience.7.2 Good

Sep 2020
Pros:
I was unknowingly given a car with a sheet of metal hanging off the bottom of the car. It was really annoying and I was worried it set off sparks. I went to the nearest Enterprise rental and they were able to help me out and get a different car. It was a fuel efficient Toyota Camery which was perfect. I really appreciated that they were able to help me out.Cons:
When I initially went to get a different car or get assistance because the piece of metal was hanging off the first car 15 minutes after I picked it up. They at first said they couldn’t do anything about it and that I would either have to pay a damage fee because they thought it was my fault the car had problems. They also told me to drive it back to Portland and talk to the people where I picked it up. I immediately started crying because they couldn’t help me and we’re going to make me waste all this time with this broken car on my vacation. But then they changed their minds and decided to help me and got me a different car. I guess I wish they would have been able to help me right away and I wish they would have believed me that the car came like this.10.0 Wonderful

At drop off I was automatically charged $184 for gas refill. My initial estimate for the rental was $129.00 for 2 days. $184 for a tank of gas? Had to make an extra stop to the customer service desk just to get it credited. What a waste of time to be a preferred member. Never again.4.4 Mediocre
