Very clean. Good location. Very slow service in restaurant - not ideal for business travellers. A la carte menu was poor value. Daily menu was good value but unsuitable for vegetarians. Poor soundproofing in the rooms.
more variations in buffet would be nice when staying more days
being in the sauna Inside the hotel it was very hot
Excellent breakfast buffet! Boring room
Well proportioned rooms, comfortable bedding. Came with some outside space + table & chairs. Also has a nice pool. Free WiFi & parking was handy. In short, a good business style hotel. Often used for corporate events and evening soirees. There was some kind of event the night I stayed. Didn't disturb my stay or sleep but finding a place to park in the carpark (which isn't small) was a nightmare.
The view and space in the room.. Ya an ash tray and no match box.. Had to go ti reception to get two
Very hot room, terribel bed linnen and pillow
No international TV channels, e.c. BBC, CNN, Mezzo,...
Swimming pool No wellness
It is a great place out in the countryside and very quite
Lots of character (we were given an upgrade to the admiral's room) and the banqueting rooms are sensational. Set in rural surroundings, a convenient base for touring north Jutland Very expensive restaurant (even by Danish standards!), so we dined elsewhere. Not much written English, e.g toilet instructions only in Danish. (Fortunately, I read Danish). And all the local signs refer to the place as Store Restrup "Herregaard", not manor. Their publicity blurb states "...48 vaerelser, alle med toilet og bad". Not so. Our room only had a shower, no "bad" (bath)
Tobacco smell in the room, which as supposed to be a non-smoking room. Furniture was not in order. Electric sockets could have killed a child because they were hanging out of the wall. An excuse would have been appropriatre. We have had much better rooms for considerably lower price.
The nice location at the country side and the good breakfast in the morning, espesially the new baked bread.
