Good size room friendly and efficient staff good food Room 2 window opened onto flat roof full of pigeons and an air con unit outlet so did not want to open it despite hot weather; ok for our one night stay but would not have stayed in this room any longer
the hotel room was really nice ! we had the better room i think as we had view over the harbour ! when arriving with our one year old baby the receptionist told us we could not fit a travel cot in a double bedroom but she let us and it was perfect !
Very friendly...clean...small and cozy Hotel in Aberaeron...a beautiful part of Wales on the west coast...a must visit for people who want to get away from it all and/or travelling for sightseeing. Looking to use this Hotel again in the near future and would recommend it to family and friends. No complaints at all
We loved the central location. We would have liked more salads on the menu.
The evening meal & breakfast was quite nice, although heating not quite up to scratch. Unfortunately it was one of the coldest spells for a few years & the heating in the room was inadequate (radiator warm only). No heating in bathroom. Luckily the barman managed to find a portable heater for us, thankfully!!
staff friendly and helpful plus excellent location
good location, friendly helpful staff, nice food in the restaurant and a warm and friendly bar area and they were willing to switch the TV onto the football for me nothing
location not much choice for breakfast, especially for a vegetarian
The Bed The storage heater was on, which, considering it was the June, wasn't necessary, I did turn it off but as its a storage heater it kept erradiating heat. My room was on the top floor and this ment I had the noise from the fans etc so couldnt keep the room cool. not the best nights sleep ive had.
Clean and comfortable Bit noisy at night
Nothing really This hotel is entirely unsuitable as tourist accomodation. It is suited only to 'contractor' occupation.
Room was right by ventilator flue which made it very noisy
Light and airy rooms, nicely decorated. Very central location within Aberaeron.
convenience attached oub seemed rather rough
It was a short stay but would definitely stay there again. Staff were very friendly, rooms beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent. nothing
Polite and responsive staff Room no 1 very cramped.
Very comfortable well appointed room, very nice clean decor throughout public arreas and great brekfast
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and really tasty food! Really good value for money The only thing that could have been better was the television reception!
the hotel was in a perfect location, breakfast was excellent view from room fantastic website should show pictures of all its rooms not just the one that looks the best (which is the family room in the cottage ) so you know what you are getting.our room was small but clean and tidy it could do with a small sofa so you can relax and chill out i your room (lose the big table in room four) hotel was very tired in places could do with a refresh
Clean room and bedding after being moved to a better room. First impressions were not good but when I complained about the tv not working I was moved to a much nicer room.
Location,restaurant menu,food quality None
Good value and friendly staff. Room was rsther small, but at this price, not a problem. Car park is accessed via a lane leading to the rear of the hotel - best to ask staff for directions rather than trying to find it yourself!
Friendly staff. Nice location Room gruby. Carpet very stained. Furniture tatty. Website stated dog friendly but in fact are not.
I stayed here as a young boy. It remains good after 60 years. friendly cheerfull good pub food. good breakfasts. Could not open bedroom window. I am bigger now than 60 years ago could I have a bigger bed
The hotel was clean and tidy . The staff were helpful and polite. The food was of an excellent standard and ould reccomend to any friends and family in the future
The location was excellent and we had a sea/bay view. Plenty of room and good shower. The bar/restaurant was very busy even though we went out of season and breakfast was excellent. Couldn't find the car park until after we had already parked in public car park and paid, however we did arrive at about 8pm and it was dark. Was disappointed not to find a hairdryer in the room (but didn't state there would be one)
