Beautifully decorated throughout.Excellent food. The owners Caroline and Jeffrey were very friendly and welcoming.
The owners of the hotel were superb, friendly, attentive while giving us space to enjoy our stay. The room was very comfortable and well decorated with everything you could want, with the exception of may be a few more teabags! The location is good being both close to the coast and to the mountains. Food was very good,
Very friendly owners ,good food ,beautiful house Shower difficult to control due to noise through mixer control.
The staff were very attentive and polite. The hotel was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay here.
Ffarm Country House (thanks to its owners Jeremy and Carolyn) offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great place to relax and enjoy North Wales.
Jeremy was a very engaging and helpful host. Room was well appointed and clean. Good Internet connection and TV. His made to order breakfast set you up for the rest of the day. Good base for touring. No dinner service during our stay but local pub had good food at a reasonable price.
Very relaxing environment, beautiful room (Champagne), very friendly host.
Jeremy and Carolyn are very welcoming hosts to a beautiful little romantic retreat. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed, and the bathroom was high class with large separate shower and Victorian roll top bath. The drawing room was cosy and the breakfast very good. Excellent value. No
Friendly helpful hosts,excellent food
A lovely relaxing stay, very nice location good access to north wales and snowdonia, perfect for a little getaway, and nice big bath was just right after hiking up Snowdon! The weekend restaurant meal is fantastic ( Masterchef quality!) and extremely good value for money. The proprietors are also very friendly with good knowledge of the local area.
The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic and portion sizes were great. Our room was very large with a lovely view of the grounds. There is a wonderful beer garden and children's play area in the side garden. We will surely be staying here again and again! (The price was absolutely perfect!) Just a few small issues in the room. The shower curtain could use a good wash and there was a small bit of paint chipped off one of the radiators. Nothing major.
The breakfast was ok The hotel overall was "shabby" and in need of a refurbishment. The reception was not manned all the time - the receptionist appeared to be doing more than one job at once - not very welcoming.
Staff very helpful & attentive Restaurant superb Menu varied & interesting Food superbly presented & cooked Fine choice of wine Rooms were tired Children had a room with no showere facility Ordered & paid for newspaper which we didn't receive
Easy to find, very helpful staff, excellent rooms no
The staff at the hotel where impeccable, they ensured our stay was pleasurable. The food was delicious, the rooms were clean and the hotels location is absolutely beautiful. The facilities were also good, its very relaxing to have a jacuzzi and sauna after a hard days holidaying. It is very likely that we will return some time in the future and we will be recommending it to familiy and friends.
Beautiful setting, impressive gardens, lovely bathrooms with nice showers. Dining area is very modern and well laid out. Very handy for visiting friends. Breakfast poor on both days, day 1 buffet, no fruit available, coffee very strong, much of the cooked food was lukewarm, day 2 we went for breakfast at 7.30am and the staff had not got everything set up! Bed large but soft and bouncy. Two bars open but only staff in 1 and the beer we asked for had run out - at the start of the evening and needed the barrel changing. Bedroom was very dusty.
Easy to find. Room was clean, but needs a refub, not good vaule for £90
Everything. Food outstanding. Facilities all you could ask for.
The room was very comfortable and clean, the bathroom had been recently renovated. The restaurant was very good, with a good variety of dishes, freshly cooked and well presented. The service was very good and friendly. The spa/pool was undergoing renovation and was not at the same standard as the rest of the hotel.
Quiet and peaceful. Friendly staff Some areas need attention and updating. Some under utilised and bare areas
It was a quiet and peasefull place good frendly, and helpful staff the meals were also very nice with a good selection
The b&b is modern, clean, tastefully decorated. it is better than most five star hotels. the breakfast is fab. and you could not find better hosts. Shame we could not stay longer this time!!
The staff was outstanding the frunishings and lay out are amazing, and the food was wounderful.
One of the best guesthouses I've ever stayed in. Really lovely accomodation that was spotlessly clean. Exceptionally welcoming hosts, most helpful and imformative. Fantastic food with huge portions. Great value for money.
Owners very helpful and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Room well appointed.
Excellent B&B beautiful location and Sarah and Patrick are wonderful hosts. Our room was beautiful with our own patio but the mattress was much too firm.
Cosy, clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly, great breakfast None!
Very friendly knowledgeable staff. Excellent customer service - I was working away from home on my birthday and I was given a free bottle of bubbly!!! Lovely quiet setting with beautiful garden. The shower in the bathroom was very poor - just a dribble so it took ages to have a wash. It was good to have a leisure club but the changing areas smelled a bit musty and could have been cleaner.
Room was clean and comfortable, friendly reception staff, nice breakfast. The noise. I could hear the TV clearly from a neighbouring room, but wasn't quite sure which room it was to make a complaint. Maybe a reminder by the TVs for guests to consider other guests, would be helpful?
Family room was spacious as was the double bed Arrived just after 5pm and the hotel smelled of cooked food.which lingered into the evening - perhaps they need better extractor fans. The breakfast was at best OK - greasy and event the mushrooms had been deep fried and tasted of stale fat. The children were not allowed in the pool unitl 10 am - I think this rule could be relaxed when you're paying £120 a night for 2 adults and a child in a hotel that I wouldn't grade as 4 star
That it is a very good all-round hotel with just what I needed. I have stayed before N/A
Very friendly service. Great gym/pool facilities. Very nice meal. The only thing was a very creaky floor in the bedroom
Everytjing - where do I start?!The room was perfect, the staff wonderful, the food fantastic (best steak I've ever had) very clean and overall a super place to relax. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough!
-good size room even though a little dated (facilities fine) -clean sheets -good service -descent breakfast busy on the night (wedding) therefore no parking for guests - evening meal not top notch which I had expected judging by surroundings & prices in menu - room & bathroom definitely ready to be refurbished
After a long journey and busy working day, it's lovely to be greeted by friendly, pleasant, efficient and welcoming staff. Instantly you begin the 'unwind' process. The well furnished comfortable rooms provide great 'chill out' space. If you do need to catch up on work tasks and emails, access to the internet, and a comfortable desk, meet your requirement. The Conservatory provides a wonderful view of the grounds and can be used for business catch-up, enjoying a beverage or two, or just unwinding. The overall package the hotel provides is wonderful and just what you need when your away from home on business. Nothing at all - perfection!
the service & accommodation
The room was lovely and comfortable we had 1 night stay and really enjoyed it and we would return in the future. There was nothing we did not like,
Staff very very friendly , nothing too much , very welcoming Booked 2 ad 1 ch on internet , though booking didnt stipulate that , though the staf at rhuddlan rectified this quickly
Pleasant rooms ,pleasant staff good food & real ale Just the price
The hotel was clean and modern. The restaurant/pub next-door was nice and very convenient especially when arriving late as you don't need to search around for somewhere to eat. You may however need to pre-book a table. The breakfast was good with a choice of cooked or continental. It was not a problem but there was some road noise at night.
Poor restaurant, service good, standard of food average. The single bed for our second child was most uncomfortable.
Booked a disabled room due to my husbands bad back and it was excellent, pub next door with food was good but only pub food Disabled bathroom had no shower only a bath which my husband could not get into
the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. the room was was very comfortable and clean.
Service at the hotel reception and the restaurant was very good.
Friendly staff, comfortable room
bed, freeview TV, shower no iron
Friendly staff, good value and location.
well,i liked the cleanliness of the hotel and my room, the staff weren't bad at all what i honestly didn't like was the fact that there was no wi-fi and it really inconvenienced me because i know that smaller hotels have these facilities so i was surprised and disappointed
Booking out !! Most of it
Good size room with 3 full size beds. Clean bed linnen and towels. Reception staff friendly and attentive. Room not hoovered prior to arrival and only on request during the first day. The carpet could really do with replacing or at least a shampoo once every few months. The bathrooom floor looks very old and in need of replacing. Very limited times for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast price too high. Very limited parking - we had to park on the road in a nearby street.
Oh how I laughed at the grand sign in reception. The last word in luxury The hotel was a dump. The colour scheme suggested it was last painted in the early 80'S. There were rolls of electrical cables on most corridors. The standard of decoration was poor. Breakfast at £10 (suggest Weatherspoons at £3.50) The floors bounced as you walked along them so you hear everyone as they come & go. I was woken at about 6.30 on a Sunday by what sounded like the laundy in full swing
Excellent customer service
Convenient location and moderate price Awkward parking
The staff were good and the room was clean. Coffee making facilities in the room is always very welcome. Having to pay before you could get the key to the room. This included having to make the decision about breakfast the next morning because it was not in the room rate! Although the rooms have been refurbished a section of ther door frame where the lock was attached had been replaced and not painted. which gave the impression that the door might have been forced open at sometime. Additionally there was no way of locking the door from the inside as the lock was damaged. Breakfast was served very quickly that give me the feeling that they were prepared and kept warm.
value for money, very pleasent and helpful staff. no was very happy with our stay.
the staff were brilliant when we wanted to change rooms they were very helpfull the price of the room was £25 and the breakfast wasn't include in that .and the breakfast was £10 thought the price of £25 the breakfast would of been included
