Very pleasant owners, very good Chinese dinner, very good breakfast, beautiful small Thamesside village.
The people who run the hotel and pub are fantastic, and the food is really good.
John, the owner, is the most friendly host we met during our holiday in the Cotswalds.
Quiet clean room
Clean, well-heated and ventilated room and bathroom. Excellent, freshly- cooked breakfast. Good value restaurant (Chinese). Accommodating staff.
No real bad points although access to rooms - either via pub and restaurant or poorly-lit side door from garden - is not ideal.
The Plough Inn was situated in a beautiful location. The room we stated in (double room with the four poster bed) was beautiful and the shower was amazing! The staff we very friendly and we enjoyed a quiet drink in the bar at night with a sociable atmosphere. It's obvious that the owners love their job! It was lovely to have the option of a late breakfast.
The only improvement would be a better selection of cereals for breakfast. Perhaps a muesli or porridge.
Friendly, Welcoming and curtious. Lovely venue, good location, easy to find and good food.
Welcoming and friendly atmosphere, great food, superb room and a wonderful host.
Clean, efficient, flexible
