Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas

The beach is big with white sand ,the drink kept flowing making us feel like we were on a tropical holiday. The room is clean, big, modern and very comfortable.

The Food. Tried Nesma, Turtle and Simsim. Three different restaurants with three levels of disappointment. At the end of my stay, felt bitter for having paid so much money for such average (or below) food. Nesma is the beach bar, didn't expect to have amazing meals there as the place was more drinks oriented. We had the lobster quesadillas and it was good. But also had the burger and even though we asked for medium it was dry and under seasoned. Then in the evening had the sea food grilled platter in the Turtle restaurant and the lobster felt chewy tough and tasted like it was kind of old. To be fair, the fried calamari and the grilled prawns were good. After dinner we went back to Nesma and shared a bottle of wine and a shisha, service was good and it was enjoyable. Morning buffet in Simsim was also disappointing and left us asking for more. Don't get me wrong, the food is not horrible,it's just average or slightly below in so many different ways at a high unjustifiable price.
