10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really pleasant stay. Very good location, nice spacious rooms, comfortable beds and breakfast which meets anybody`s taste and needs, last but least - staff is very welcoming and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super experience. I hope I will come back soon. Try the spa and massages and don’t forget to pay a visit to the restaurant SNOB.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Superb breakfast, good location for sightseeing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my third time staying at the hotel, and each time I love it more and more. The rooms are beautiful, quiet (cannot ever hear any other guests), the views, the bathroom & so much comfort. Breakfast is always served super fresh, plenty of options & lots of local foods to try. The staff are always very welcoming & go far and beyond the basic customer service. This time due to some unforeseen works that had to be done to the room I was staying in, the staff asked me to move to another room...and with great delight as I arrived in my new room - a small bottle of sparkling wine & fruit were offered from the hotel. Amazing!
Cons: Nothing at all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow! Fantastic hotel with extra everything. The location is right next to the old town. The style of the hotel is great and thought through. We got an upgrade to Junior Suite, the room was superb with a view and an awesome bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The whole hotel oozes elegance and luxury. So clean and beautifully presented.
Cons: Nothing ... everything is amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was staying there a night before my wedding and I asked for a late check out due to the wedding preparation-a hotel not only gave me a super wonderful room with view but also let me stay a bit longer than 12:00. I am super thankful for everything!
Cons: There is not a thing that I could name, but if .... than there could be some newspapers to read in the breakfast area.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The spa was lovely so was the breakfast, the extra bed for our kid was comfortable and she really enjoyed it. We travel a lot and there has been many cases where she has slept poorly as the extra bed is uncomfortable.
Cons: All was good. The info about the parking opportunities is a bit misleading: if parking is marked "available" yet it comes with paid valet service, it should be mentioned. But that was really a minor thing.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel close to the city center and next to the park and nearby restaurants. We had standard room, which had an acceptable size, the bathroom did not have a separate shower or toilet. The room was clean. The service was nice and friendly throughout.
Cons: The beds are simply not comfortable, very hard, and I am an easy sleeper and don’t complain about this ever. The room was nice overall however I did miss a iron/board for my shirts. The interior design is bold, mixed styles, has to be your taste, felt a bit cheap and overdone for me. We had a drink at the bar, lot of wines available, somewhat overpriced (3-5x retail). The breakfast is fine, not great, we missed fresh fruit selection and lactose free options, the quality of the food is varied. It’s included so I won’t complain too much about it. Overall nice hotel, but not 5 star material.

Pros: Perfectly situated hotel with a nice charm.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, room, breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The building is beautiful inside, the room was great with a really big bathroom and a good shower. The staff were brilliant! So friendly and helpful. It’s bang in the centre of the old town, the location couldn’t be better. We loved it!
Cons: Our room was on the second floor and we could hear the thump from the bass from the club next door which was a bit annoying, but the staff gave us earplugs for our second night so no problem.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We travel often, and this hotel has some of the most welcoming and friendly staff in the world. Without the staff this hotel would not be the same. Also the best breakfast I have had.
Cons: Need thicker curtains for the room, and needs a manual coffee machine with breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff, breakfast and room! Breakfast has good vegan choices. If you want it really quiet (old town location, bars nearby ) - choose the room with windows to atrium - atrium is really great :) Definitely recommend!

Hotel Bergs - Riga - Building
5
9.4 Excellent (648 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A sleek designer retreat hidden away in the hip cultural quarter of Riga, Hotel Bergs, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is a five star designer boutique hotel nestled behind a 19th century brick facade in Bergs Bazaar, with Latvian grand masters family portraits and contemporary art, haute cuisine inspired by local fare, cutting-edge conference rooms and relaxing lounges.Inside, an enticing color palette of coffee, mocha and oatmeal successfully blends with art nouveau fireplaces, African wood carvings and large expanses of glass. Its relaxing atmosphere makes it feel more like a stylish modern home than a city central hotel.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful rooms, great restaurant and great waiting staff in the restaurant.
Cons: We booked this hotel to get ready for our wedding. The receptionist (I think his name was Leo) was rude. First of all he "doubted I had booked two rooms" (I had), and then when he finally found the booking (I had to show it to him on my phone), told us if we needed anything (like an extra duvet) we need to say so now so that we don't disturb housekeeping staff later (it was 6pm so not late). At that stage we hadn't even seen the rooms so had no idea what we might need ... As we were getting ready for a wedding we had many bags - no offer to take them up to the room and didn't even show us where the lifts were. Also didn't give any information about breakfast, facilities etc. Completely ruined the whole experience for us all.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast Gym Bar
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Breakfast by far too expensive!!! Fitness could have been better!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great location. VERY good room : big, comfortable, kitchenette, pod-coffee maker, valuables safe. I usually book with one of the large hotel brands - but this time the preferred local hotel was quite a bit more than Bergs. Was a great decision to book Hotel Bergs.
Cons: no key required to access lift - but that's about it. was a great place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bergs is a lovely hotel situated close to the attractions and just outside the old city. We had a spacious room, good bathroom, complimentary chocs, parking 100 metres away and lovely people. Pleasant varied breakfast, we were 100 yards from a lovely park. 3 blocks from the opera house and in easy reach of the old city though another beautiful riverside park. The Trends restaurant did imaginative modern cuisine. Restaurants in the old city were 10 to 15 minutes walk depending on where you want to eat. The Art Nouveau area is close by too. The staff were brilliant. The waiter at Trends got soaked moving us off the terrace when there was an unexpected downpour. We stayed quite dry. A receptionist came in the car with us to make sure we got to the parking lot OK. Riga is a very elegant city.
Cons: We did not care much for the associated Berger restaurant but there are plenty of other options.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was super clean and in a good location, close to the restaurants and bars.
Cons: Can’t think of anyhing that I didn’t like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is very comfortable and with some very nice snacks, which is important when you work a lot and do not have much time. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I will be back for sure.
6.8 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms. Great location.
Cons: Cleaner stole money from us. One member of staff at breakfast very rude, didn't realise we understood Latvian. Reported to front desk. No action taken. Stayed here several times over the years. Will reconsider staying here in future.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff (especially at the reception and in the breakfast room) were very engaged and helpful. The suite was large and the bed enormous
Cons: Struggled with connecting with the WiFi. The room we had (324) was outfitted to care for disabled which is a good thing for those needing it. For me it was a bit annoying in that they had installed a ‘support arm/handle’ next to the toilet that due to its location almost made it impossible to reach the toilet roll... ... and the shower rod was way to short. I like to stand under a shower, not hunker down to do my hair.

Pros: We were here for a second time. Loved it! Will definitely come back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully restored, modern, spacious, clean, comfortable and ideally located. Highly recommended!
Cons: Not a big issue but I didn't use the coffee machine as the pods (which are probably plastic) were wrapped in plastic and I am trying reduce my use of single use plastics. A simple filter coffee machine would be better. A water filter would make a good addition too! : - )

Pros: That I got parking place front of the building.
Cons: For this money you actually get totally new apartments for rent. I wouldnt pay this money for that apartment. I excpected a little different apartment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a short term apartment not a hotel, so there are no typical hotel facilities. But it was very roomy, clean, and well appointed so you can live here comfortably like a home away from home. Fully equipped kitchen. Nice neighborhood walking distance from the Old City but without the noise.
Cons: Nothing.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good located hotel, clean rooms, very comfortable bed, balcony in the living room, contemporary design in pastel colors.
Cons: There was no window in the bedroom, window in the living room was not opening (unfortunately, there is not such information in the description), so it was not possible to get fresh air outside, except a conditioner, working very noisy, because of this had no sleep during all night. Thanks to the hotel manager (hotel administrators were not so responsive) the room was changed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I got upgraded to a bigger room with no extra pay ,I didn't even ask for it.The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful.I will definitely stay in this hotel next time I come to Riga

Pros: Park Inn has a fantastic location and enterior. The room, the beds, the entire apartment was very excellent, especially the view from the roof top over Riga. Everything seems to be brand new. Old Riga is only 10 minutes away by walk, the location of the hotel is marvelous.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Pros: This is really a fantastic place. It is located near a lake and has its own little beach area. The room was very large and had a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice. Had dinner as well and the food and drinks were of very high quality. The hotel also has a wellness area, but unfortunately I didn't have time to use them. A real shame that I only could stay one night ! The staff was very friendly. Certainly a lot of value for money !

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Customer service was superb. The receptionist gave us tips on points of intrest with directions
Cons: Only one bartender on Friday night to take orders and serve. He was doing an amazing job, but still. One man is not enough on Friday night, especially with a big event like that in the city.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room at the Radisson Blu Elisabete was modern and spacious. The staff was very friendly, and gave me a map of gorgeous Riga. The hotel's location was ideal.

Pros: Location
Cons: Noise from room above.
7.7 Good
Pros: Very clean and cosy. Magnificent breakfast. Fast room service. I surely recommend this one because it's a great buy for this money. Minor thing - if you stay not alone in the room there would be some privacy matters because bathroom has a glassdoor.
Cons: There were no booking.com reservation when I arrived, but I was lucky they had room I wanted and I showed them my confirmation so everything worked out great. Parking cost me 18$ for the night and at the morning park-machine didn't take my card, which I used minute ago to pay for the room, so I had to come back at the reception.
4.7 Okay
Pros: New, clean
Cons: Poor breakfast, room service not ip to the level, ot really right in the very center, takes a walk (on a rainy weather doesn't seem to be so near from the main sightseeing)
6.7 Good
Pros: I liked the location of the hotel. It was easy to explore the centre of Riga on foot from this hotel.
Cons: I found my room rather small and the bathroom with its bright lighting rather intrusive.
7.3 Good
Pros: breakfast, room and staff
Cons: no pool- having to pay to use the pool at the sister hotel
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent.
Cons: None.
7.6 Good
Pros: We booked twin standard room but asked for double and they provided us with better double bedroom at the same price as twin. The interior and exterior design of the hotel is very good, the atmosphere is nice, the barman at the bar is great - he makes better cocktails than at Sky line bar! The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom was always clean. We spent 10 days at this hotel and never had any troubles. The breakfast is very good with big variety of various kinds of food. Despite the hotel was full at the time we were there we never heard any sounds from neigbours.
Cons: It was a little bit dusty in the room (shelves, table), so it should be better cleaned. Otherwise everything is perfect!
7.2 Good
Pros: Everything excellent!
Cons: Horrible coffee: after two weeks travelling the Baltics this was the worst.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all excellent and were keen to help at all times and spoke English. The breakfast was very good.
Cons:
6.0 Good
Pros: Nice looking rooms, good and helpfull staff
Cons: Paper thin walls, you can heer every sound from all the rooms around you. Had 2 very bad nights' sleep

AVALON HOTEL & CONFERENCES is in the heart of Riga, within a 5-minute walk of St John's Church and St. Peter's Church. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, limo/town car service, and express check-in. Planning an event in Riga? This hotel has facilities measuring 1421 square feet (132 square meters), including conference space. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a train station pick-up service.
5.5 Okay
Pros: We had to book this hotel because Riga was completely booked because of a big concert. They drove their price to more than 450 Euro per night and for the standard of this hotel this is ridiculous. The shower is in the corner of a bathtub and you have to squeeze into the corner to have a shower. The rest feels like three stars at most. No recommendation.
Cons: Pricing to suck the money out of guests. Medium standard.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the old town, near the bus and train station. Rich breakfast buffet. Amazing bathroom. Friendly staff. Free WiFi. Good restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good
Cons: Pay for parking :)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was rich and variation. Dinner was included and good meal with no much extra fee. The bus station was walking distance, and access to old town is also walking distance.
Cons: Deposit for minibar usage was not cleared at the time of check-out, it was 2 days later.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent as I was attending a concert at Lucavsala and the hotel was very close to the old town. Good choice available for breakfast, including Gluten free bread.
Cons: The staff obviously had no training in fire drills or associated procedures as on the first night the fire alarm activated at 03:30. Some residents evacuated and others did not. During evacuation the door on level 1 fire escape electronically locked closed which I would consider a fire hazard. The night reception said it was a false alarm, but didn't know why. On investigation I checked out the fire alarm system and the alarm was triggered from zone 9. I was told this was the kitchen investigated to find some guys cleaning over the extract unit close to a smoke detector, this was obviously the cause of the alarm. The alarm system reset ok once cleaning was stopped. There was however no list of residents printed, no roll call all of which points to a lack of training delivered on fire safety.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful facility, comfortable hotel room, delicious meals (we purchased the dinner meal plan and were not disappointed!), and convenient location (relative to the Riga Old Town).
Cons: Overall the staff was quite friendly. Perhaps one of the reprentatives (when we arrived) could have been a little more friendly.
5.5 Okay
Pros: It was cheap
Cons: Very Small room. Food not great. Our shower was blocked, which produced raw sewage. Very noisy outside.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is very close to the old city.the room was very spacious. The food was delicious .
Cons: Everything was excellent
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location to visit the old town. Very clean and quiet room. Comfortable bed.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Quite
Cons: Internet speed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was above average with many choices & plenty of seating. Location is outstanding, if you are arriving or departing from International Bus Station ( less then 10 minute sidewalk safe walk. ) On border with Old Town & 5 minute walk to two different large food stores.
Cons: Nothing, this was my third stay & will continue to come back
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Free upgrade to a Suite with two bathrooms and TV sets (it DOES make a difference on a family trip). Very clean room, friendly personnel, Coffee To Go option at breakfast. Walking distance to the Old Town (albeit with some drawbacks - see the "What did not you like" section).
Cons: The hotel is located close to a tram line and a 2-lane driveway to the city center - best to have a room facing the other side (or even the lobby). For the same reason, parking a car - either outside or in the underground garage - requires extra caution (increased for the ones going inside by a narrow parking ramp and only a handful of parking slots there). On top of that, you have to inform the reception in advance before leaving or arriving (who in turn inform the garage personnel to open the gate). That set of challenges costs you 30 EUR/day (I used to pay less than half that price in Sweden for the same). Annoying shortages and slow or no replenishments in the breakfast buffet (juices, pancakes, tea cups - to name a few).

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Innside old town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel, the staff and breakfast was very nice. No fault really.
Cons: Considering that we booked this particular hotel in January, with the idea that could use spa and swimming pool. As we travelled with two 6 year olds. Then 5 days before leaving we got an email to inform us that spa is closed for cleaning and maintenance! We never stayed in old Riga or this hotel, so didnt know if the pool is together with the spa area, and that there are other two Wellton hotels near by with the small pool and Riverside one has got bigger one! All I am saying, it was enjoying that we didn't know more about it so we could have changed it to one of their hotels with the pool ! The staff member's were amazing and tryed their very best to compensate by offering us two taxi trips. It's not their fault, it's the management should have send more information to people and an optional to change If people wish to do so. It was very inconvenient to walk all the way to other hotel so children can use the pool and coming back wet back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was absolutely superb in a lovely area in Riga Old Town. The staff were super-friendly and so accommodating for myself when I had a arrived a night early before family they made everything seamless for when they arrived and not having to move rooms. Facilities were great and a nice cosy place to sleep. Would definitely stay in again if I return to Riga.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel close to old town in Riga. We had a balcony with fantastic view of the setting sun. Both room and bathroom clean and functional. Fantastic breakfast offer with broad variety of food and beverages. Parking very close to the hotel for only 4€/night.
Cons: None.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location from airport and for walking to city center
Cons: Parking is full despite the fact that it was for extra fee. Climate control was out of service.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bbreakfast was very good.
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean and well equipped
Cons: Options and wishes made in booking were not checked and respected. Parking was small and crowded and with extra charge. Mirrors were stolen there so no surveillance either. Breakfast okay but not as good as expected
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel, modern decorated, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Not in the heart of city center but 15-20 minutes on foot or 5 stops by tram next to the hotel
Cons: No breakfast included in price, and the parking was also used as a public parking not only private. There was a mistake at hotels system so the reception charged us more money for the room, but after we give them the booking confirmation they apologized for that and charge us with the correct amount
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel, modern decorated, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Not in the heart of city center but 15-20 minutes on foot or 5 stops by tram next to the hotel
Cons: No breakfast included in price, and the parking was also used as a public parking not only private (not secure enough). The room next to us they were shouting loudly until 3 am, so we couldn't sleep, but that wasn't hotels faults
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: We liked that there was an air conditioner and TV in the room. And we also enjoyed free toiletries.
Cons: The room and the bathroom were not very clean. There was lots of dust everywhere and the carpet was dirty. The towels were not replaced and the beds were not made the next day. We also bought some hot chocolate for our child but it was stolen, which was very surprising.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Just about everything. Location was good, about 15-20 mums walk through a park to the city centre. But the room was quite big, had a balcony and was quiet. Staff obliging and good English.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, nice location, nice building.
Cons: We asked for help making a collect call to credit card which was given and were then charged over 10 euros for a direct call on leaving because “maybe the person who helped did not know how to make a collect call.” Breakfast items were not replenished efficiently.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast was really excellent. A lot of fresh Food (salmon, fruits, Juices...) Early check in without any extra charges.
5.8 Okay
Pros: A got a room with a park view and balony on my request. Good breakfasts. Good location. We got an extra gift for the baby.
Cons: Hotel not suitable for baby carriages. You have stairs just behind the front door. And nobody from the staff proposed us any help with carrying stroller up or down the entrance stairs for 4 days of our stay. A 4-star hotel without any information about this obstacle! A balony was totally filthy, so I couldn't use it. They got very limited parking space. I booked room a month before arrival and still I had to park in a city garage, which is not far away from the hotel, but it was not comfortable to carry all my family bags with me hundreads of meters. And, what was annoying, I got standard email offering me a hotel parking - while it was already fully booked.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice and quite big. Breakfast was delicious.
Cons: Extra bed for child was uncomfortable.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had an apartment on the 5th floor that faced a courtyard, so although there was no view, it was very quiet. The bed was large and comfortable, and the shower was one of the best we have had in hotels. The breakfast had extensive choices and was very good. It was about a 2km walk to the old town through some parks, or you can get a tram from a stop about 300m away. The Saturday markets near the railway station were fantastic!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Hotel very near to main Art Nouveau buildings area
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, helpful staff, very good location Good choice breakfast, Enjoyed one night stay, would stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was vast and delicious. Bedsheets were cleaned every morning.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great. Fitness room could be bigger.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room had a lot of space, bed was vey comfortable. Location is great!
Cons: Breakfast could have been better, choices were quite limited. Since we stayed there for Rammstein concert, and it seemed that hotel was fully booked, then breakfast platter didn't get refilled as quickly as they should have.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was fab, the staff were really nice.
Cons: The bed was so unbelievably soft it gave both of us terrible backache. The bathroom was very cramped... The size overall was a lot smaller than the photos indicated although a small bedroom wasn't an issue for us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located in the heart of Riga's old town, with many good restaurants and attractions very close by. The hotel staff as very helpful and polite. The interiors were very charming and our room and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable but could have been a bit larger. Overall a good city hotel with all the amenities for a comfortable stay and good value for money.
Cons: The double room could have been a bit more spacious with at least two chairs/sofas to sit on. Also spare toilet roll should not be put right on top of the toilet brush.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly and very helpful in offering tourist advice and summoning taxis, etc.. The breakfast was excellent and the bathroom amenities were also very good. The comfort and cleanliness were excellent.
Cons: The room was a bit small... but not unexpected in an older building.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly service of the reception staf. Nice atmosphere and warm and colorful interior. Cleaning service good. Breakfast abundant.
Cons: The restaurant is beautiful with a fantadtic view and the quality of the food is good but the main courses serverly lack vegetables. One has to order side dishes wich are pricy and far from abundant.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff excellent, breakfast good choices & location first class. Rooftop restaurant/bar excellent views & lovely to finish the day with a nightcap.
Cons: The room was a bit old fashioned due to the age of the building with low beams and sloping floor. I felt this did add to the charm of the hotel but could be difficult for some people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent, we had a very early flight on the morning of our departure. The staff prepared takeaway breakfast for us as it was included in our room rate. The 2 complimentary drinks at the roof top restaurant was a nice touch, we ate dinner there as well, would recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We visited in Riga with my wife for a few days. The Hotel Gutenbergs has one of the Best service compared to any hotel I've visited, and I have been travelling quite a lot, all around the World. Special thatnk's goes to young man at reception, very polite, extremely customer oriented quy with a great looking "1800's beard" and a perfect suite. Also, all the other personnel were great attitude, no complaints what so ever. The location is perfect; in the old town, next to the Dome Square, everything within a walking distance, including all the Best sights, restaurants, shops, and transportation. The hotel is VERY tidy, perfecly cleaned every day, the interior is cozy, nicely "old fashioned" but with modern tech. Also the breakfast was good, everything was fresh, tasty, and serving table was constantly re-filled by polite, quick working young ladies. When we choose a hotel in Riga, we will choose Gutenbergs again, that's for shure. We highly recommend Hotel Gutenbergs.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's location was excellent. (a bit of a walk from the bus station and tucked away - take a taxi!) Breakfast was really good lots of choice of freshly prepared fruit, pastries etc. Lots to see and do nearby
Cons: The roofgarden was effectively a restaurant and not really available to residents. Our room was posh but small making it quite awkward. Opposite our room on the corridor were the toilets for the roofgarden restaurant and the doors kept bagging
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast and the location are super. We asked to change the room which was very small and poor, and then we got a beautiful room at the first floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very clean comfortable and has perfect location.. Workers are very helpfull and always smile.. If I come back I will choose this hotel again..

Pros: Everything. The location is extremely nice, the staff were really, really friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is distinctive
Cons: There was a bug with overcharging after booking the room at booking.com website
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I’s very centrally located in the Old Town.
Cons: There was no direct light coming to my room. It is so built that if you open the curtain you can peep into someone else’s room. Wish there was good light coming in. Otherwise feels quite dark.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very very kind and helpful staff, good value for money, cool room, has an old schoolish charme but in a good way. Location is perfect, couldn’t be more central! Highly recommended.
Cons: Only slight con: Breakfast was a bit mediocre - everything else was very good.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, in the city centre but quiet and extremelly close to the airport and easy to reach. Beautiful building, roomy bathroom, super clean, lovely staff.
Cons: Breakfast could have some fruit and the restaurant can't accomodate many people so many had to wait for a seat.
10.0 Excellent

Pullman Riga Old Town Hotel is in the heart of Riga's historic centre occupying a magnificent building from 1789 merged together with a completely modern structure. It lies exactly in the Old Town and neighbors Dome Square, Parliament, National Theatre, F reedom Monument, National Opera. Refined restaurant and bar, Vinoteca by Pullman, Tea Deli, luxurious SPA with 19 m swimming pool, comprehensive conference facilities with 8 rooms, parking area support the 155 room five star hotel facility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, modern. Comfortable bed. Central location. Helpful staff who allowed us a late checkout.
Cons: Bit strange having the bathroom open to the rest of the room
5.8 Okay
Cons: The view from the room was on the garbage. Because of the closeness to Parliament, taxis are not allowed to come to entrance of hotel. Property didn’t warn me about this and no one came out to help with heavy luggage at check in and neither at check out.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, walking distance to everything in the city. Great bar & welcoming staff. Hotel designed very modern & a lot of thought was put into the look & feel. Comfortable bed & pillows.
Cons: For a 5 star hotel I find it very disappointing that you can hear other guests entering their rooms, especially the slamming of doors. The bathroom design I find annoying, as again in a 5 star hotel I would love to see a bathroom separate from the entire room. A lot more refined room would have been appreciated.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: great location in a quiet part of the old town, beautiful rooms, very good breakfast
Cons: environmental policy on changing towels/sheets is not applied (we got new towels and sheets despite not wanting new ones)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was really nice and the staff well behaved. Breakfest good, rooftop terrace cozy, pool a plus, location perfect
Cons: Well the view of the room was a bit boring but it didn't bother us. And a little bit wierd having the sink near the bed, not in the bathroom itself
7.0 Good
Cons: bed - 2 mattresses on wheels do not make „king size bed”, no desk nor chair, dirty floor
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location is superb, right in the middle of old town. Classy rooms, good restaurant.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good location and nice pillow collection
Cons: No service mentality, unprofessional staff and poor complaint management. Mold in the bathroom and ragged towels. Breakfast was a disaster: Dirty tables, no refilling, egg ordering not delivered, line on the poor coffee machine. Overall not recommended!

Pros: Excellent location. Comfortable beds/pillows. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Spa zone is pretty simple. Swimming pool is small (narrow).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, comfortable beds and good facilities. Personal kind and helpful. Swimming pool and sauna was enjoyable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were lovely as was the atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a great location as it’s close to everything.
Cons: While breakfast was good, they did run out of champagne and it was never replaced or brought to us. The same was true for the bacon. Movies were not available to order from the tv.

Pie Maijas is situated 200 metres from the local bus station, the Murjāņu iela. Saulkrasti Railway Station is 3 km away.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Evertyhing was perfect, clean. Parking site was enough for large car. The host is very intelligent and helpful lady. I would stay there again, if needed. Make sure, you keep your room/bungalo's door always locked, because for strangers it is easy to get through the gates into the territory of hotel and video surveillance isn't taking place there. I was sitting in my bungalo, when one of the foreign guests tried to look into my window, what made me feel uncomfortable, as his real purpose wasn't clear - did he mix up the place or wished to steal something. Living in countries like this, you can't never be sure about people's real behaviour.
Cons: It's not the fault of the host, but Wi-fi and internet in the phone is poor in the whole Saulkrasti, sometimes even google map is not working due to poor mobile connection in Saulkrasti.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Everything was mostly good. Although, the bathroom door didn't properly close... Beds could more comfortable
Cons: The bathroom door didn't properly close... Beds could more comfortable
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find. Very helpful landlady.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice place not far from the beach. Very big bathroom.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a perfect little place for anyone who wants to enjoy some quiet time in nature. Pie Maijas is nicely blending in the environment, with one main house, and several smaller cottage houses around. Amazing garden with few tables around. The room and the whole place is spotless clean, the breakfast filling and tasty. Tamara let me leave my bags there for several hours after check out and when I came to pick them, she saw I was wet and cold from the rain and offered me a warm tea and the best pancakes I ever had. We chatted for a bit, and finally she sent me away with a big smile. Thanks a million for the delightful stay. Spasiba!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The garden with tables looked fantastic... And we were actually allowed to have breakfast there :) as well as for barbecue activities the night before.
Cons: The hot tub had issues. The window blinds were transparent for the morning sun.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was fine, price to quality ratio excellent. Nicely situated, staff was nice and room was clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, close to the beach, felt welcomed and good value for the money.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location and very friendly owner. Sea is 3 minutes away on foot and a few beach restaurants are not far off too. Loved the private bungalow and parking in the private parking lot.
Cons: To nitpick - Would be nice to have somebody speaking fluent English, though it was okay. Bathroom could use a little refurbishment.
