Located in South Addison, a quiet lobster fishing village, the cottage contains a living/dining area, galley kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a year-round porch leading onto an outside deck with a gas grill. The bathroom/utility room has a shower, sink, and toilet. The downstairs bedroom has a queen size bed. The loft has two twin beds. There is a futon on the year-round porch that makes into a bed. High tide is a good time to explore with the two kayaks provided. Bring your camera for once in a lifetime shots of the local wildlife. This is a great spot to watch osprey and eagles looking for fish. When the lobsters are shedding their shells, it attracts seals that can be seen in the harbor. Shore birds abound during the spring and fall migration times. October is a prime time to see migrating ducks. Old squaw, teal, black, mallard and eider are most common. There is a 20-45X Bushnell spotting scope on the porch to enhance the views in the harbor.
